Like the title says. Megatron is smaller in truck mode than Prime in the Voyager class due to the tanker, so I was wondering if Deluxe Prime might be the same size in truck mode as Megatron...

I would put money on that.

Since Meg's entire truck turns into him, you'd think he should be bigger then prime.

They're probably approximate in scale with each other. Deluxe Prime will at least be better than any Voyager Prime.

As far as I know, yes they are in the same scale, as Voyager Megatron's cab itself is around standard deluxe size. But unlike Prime, he has a trailer that is integrated into the robot mode, which makes Megatron a voyager due to the size added by the integrated trailer.
I've also seen pictures of Voyager Prime and Voyager Megatron side-by-side, and it is evident that Voyager Prime is on a larger scale than Voyager Megatron.

Yeah, they're in better scale, for vehicle mode. Adding this: For Robot Mode, it would be horrible scale

Really? I never noticed that. With the first movie they seemed to be the same size. It was ROTF where Megatron seemed to get bigger for me. Either way, Optimus would be way too short, even if there was a size drop for these figures

In the movies, according various scale guides I've found, prime is 28 feet and megatron is 35 feet.

Probably not as much as you'd think, his truck has a smaller cab and that fuel tank could just be empty space.

Which, to me, doesn't seem much until you calculate that it's an extra 20% taller than Prime! That's for the first film. I haven't seen anything saying how tall he is in RotF. In the forest battle he seemed to be shorter to my eye - about the same height as Prime.

Yeah, they would be posed in truck mode next to each other. Just because Megatron's truck mode is badass. I still say it is leader Class worthy. Then he would be in scale with Voyager Prime.

Anyway, I thought Megatron was taller in the first film and taller and bulkier in the second film than Optimus. I thought it was very obvious when Megatron tackled Prime at the beginning of the forest fight.

If based on the wheel size, yes they are. But if you are really anal, Megatron is still slightly smaller than DLX Prime.

But actually looking further honestly I don't know, cause their windows are in scale too..

I'm not anal about it, but if we look at it realistically, a Peterbilt is slightly larger than a Mack anyway.

Even if the robot mode scales are inaccurate, I usually like bad guys to be bigger than good guys. It helps them seem more menacing.

but is deluxe prime in scale with the rest of the Autobots?

No, Dlx Optimus is far too small to scale w/ any Deluxes, but too large for the Cyberverse figs.

I think he looks perfect with voy Megatron, and w/ Voy Sentinel Prime. I have those 3 and Voy Shockwave together right now, and they look great. Shocky has the advantage of not having any human-scale parts, such as doors, wheels, etc. He can be in scale w/ Deluxes or Leaders if you want. It'd be fun to see a wee little Shockwave get pushed around by Leader Ironhide. Heh.
