What's the secret to fixing RTS Perceptor?
I've been having a deuce of a time with my Perceptor figure's backpack/shoulders assembly. The whole system depends on one rectangular peg fitting into a hole in his back hinge, but there is barely any bite to keep the peg secure. As a result, every time I move his arms (and even sometimes when I don't) his backpack/shoulders pop loose again.
Obviously a design flaw, and the responsible parties should be tracked down and given a good sacking, followed by a good blackballing afterwards....but I digress.
Has anyone figured out a decent, fairly non-invasive mod to correct this issue? I bought another Perceptor yesterday thinking that perhaps the problem was limited to mine, but no, they all seem to have the same issue. Now I'm thinking of keeping the double and permanently robot mode-ing him by supergluing the peg into its corresponding hole. It's a bit shlockey to do this, and will ruin the figure, so I welcome any alternate methods anyone can suggest.
Thanks in advance!
