DOTM Skyhammer Stress Marks

I noticed today on my DOTM Skyhammer that the left shoulder I plug his mechtech weapon into for storage (probaly placed it into the peg at max 5 times) was already showing strong stress marks. Is this a general sign of plastic quality or is mine the minority?

I've only plugged his gun in there once, and felt the fit was way too tight.

Maybe it's a minority. When I got my first DOTM Starscream, it had extreme stress marks in the Combined form of his two weapons. When I accidentally broke it and got my second one, it worked smoothly and effectively. But I'm just pulling from experience with another figure. Once I get Skyhammer myself I may be able to testify efficiently.

More a sign of tight but varying tolerances then I guess.
