The DOTM line have hit us with three leader class release , all off them autobots, based on the past he toyline may have just one more release of a new leader mould and since all three leaders issued so far are autobots one cannot help but to anticipate the next one will be a decepticon. The contender for leader class could be megatron or perhaps his deputy shockwave

Megatron have always been release as a leader class in former movieverse toylines , will his new truck form warrant a leader class release?

Or perhaps a release of shockwave, said to be the main villian in DOTM be more justifiable?

Shockwave and / or megs, as long as it's not like the ROTF leader Megs. Seemed like the voyager was better IMO. At least in ALT mode it did. Seemed like a huge piece of plastic in alt mode.

But if they do it right, yeah. Shockwave or Megs "could be" awesome

Well I was kind of hoping it will be megatron, the emperor of destruction, but old shockwave seems to be getting a lot of positive reception from the masses , so Hasbro may swing the balance to the one eyed cyclops favour....

I think it will be Megatron, or at least I hope it will be.

I'd be nervous about a possible third failed attempt at a leader Megatron. The difference between the Fallen and Shockwave is that the Fallen was based on an obscure character with no prior fanbase and didn't do much in the movie. Shockwave is a popular G1 character and it sounds like he's going to have a prominent role in the new flick (I hope).

Though to be fair I think one reason TF1 and TF2 leader Megatrons were so lackluster is because they were made early in their respective movie's production and based on early production art. Though I don't think that's an excuse for not giving RotF Megs zero elbow articulation.

LOL Then I guess I'll agree with you Seriously, I'm gonna say Megs too. I'm kind of hoping on that too.....

Repaints or slight retool are not counted friends, there is bound to be a repaint of bumblebee, ironhide or even sentinel prime, but I am talking about a fourth new mold

Megatron, but I wouldn't mind a Shockwave either.

I bet we will get 2 new molds until the end of the TF3 toy-line

- Leader Class Shockwave

- Ultimate Megatron (Mack truck + trailer)

I seriously hope it's not another Autobot. Especially Bumblebee. Megatron DESERVES a Leader Class figure, because based on what I've seen on screen and having the Voyager toy, they finally got him right. And the Voyager doesn't come with that awesome shotgun...

If I had to choose 2 Dotm leader sized toys. I'd prefer they be non-movie characters which seems un-realistic.

I want to see the following 2 DOTM leader sized toys.
(1) Tripple changer Blitzwing.

(2) Tidalwave

(3) masterforce overlord. 2 voyager vechicles that combine to form a leader sized toy.

Probably Megatron. Although Hasbro might decide to bring that Striker Optimus over to American shores as well.

Sounds like Shockwave might not even have an alt mode shown in the movie...if that winds up being true, it's a bit hard to give him a leader class figure. Megatron's voyager fig was interesting enough that I can see potential in a leader fig, though.

Seriously, just make it a bigger version of the Voyager and I will be happy.

Shockwave and Megatron seem the most likely to me for Cons. I don't think there are any other autobots "big" enough for a leader (in both size and popularity) though I'm sure they will repaint Bumblebee or retool ROTF Optimus sadly as well. Ratchet has like a .5% chance, but I'm sure Hasbro will shove him aside and keep him in his movie 1 voyager and a new deluxe.

MEGAFREAKINGTRON. I hate how small my voyager looks with Battle Blades Prime and Shockwave.

However, I will not be satisfied unless I also get an Ultimate Megatron to be in scale with Leader Prime. I mean, we got two Ultimates for ROTF, why not for DOTM?

Then, maybe we can get a Shockwave in a "spinoff" line like leader Starscream in HFTD was.

I'm still holding out for a Leader class Bone Crusher and Ratchet. Bonecrusher perffered.

BUt as far as DOTM Leader class, I'd preffer Megs over Shockwave. Though in vehicle mode he might look alittle out of place next to Leader prime in truck mode since Megs robot mode incorperates his trailer.
