Just noticed the updates from Kapow toys and two bits of news, or photos from them this morning

firstly new pictures of the Hercules figs

Nice finds. Neither have been seen yet.

Also, apparantly Encore is possibly being continued in the form of sounblaster and twincast

Remember Alternators and Binaltech? You know those awesome 1/24 scale licensed Transformers? Remember how sad you where when the lines got cancelled? You might also remember how the line was revived with 1/34 scale figures under the name of Transformers Alternity.
Kapow-Toys reveal through heir forum, that Transformers Alternity will be continued, with two new listings for the Nissan Fairlady and Suzuki Swift molds. Click here for the original posting.

However, we have a bit of something extra to add to this, our own sources tell us who these figures and others may be:

• Fairlady (Megatron) remold into Galvatron
• Suzuki Swift (Bumblebee/Cliffjumper) remold into Goldbug
• Nissan GT-R (Optimus Prime) remold into Dai Atlas
• Mitsuoka Orochi (Seekers) remold into Banzaitron

But we can't confirm these as of yet.

I think the seekers would work great as banzai tron, and the goldbug was obviously comming... but i cant see dia atlas in prime and im not sure how galv would look with meg's samurai-ish parts

Well, gosh. I guess it's a good thing I didn't sell the ones I have.

Also, yes. New molds please. Preferably something along the lines of Ratchet/Ironhide and a Soundwave.

cant wait for these to come out and hopefully this means the silver alternity megs and prime will be fufilled on bbts as those are the only ones im missing. seeing as im done with classics for the year and passing on 95% of dotm this is welcome news to me.

Alternity lives again!

Though, wait. Banzai-Tron? That would make this his first introduction in the Japanese lore, since he never appeared in any Japanese material beforehand.

And... how would they pull this off? The story of the Alternity fiction of brought to its ultimate conclusion. In the most epic way possible to boot. It doesn't seem feasible for them to be able to top any of what came before in the story.

And what on Earth are Galvatron, Goldbug, Dai Atlas, and Banzai-Tron doing getting involved in this? The battle was over, finished. Both the Alternity and the Megatron Aggregate were destroyed. There's no way for any of these guys to become either since the methods to do so were also obliterated. Now, all that remains is the better, more powerful "Flaternity".

Any story to come after the last one couldn't possibly top it or be even remotely as huge without undoing all that was accomplished in the last story.

Didn't like the Alternity series really, but a Galvatron would interest me. Galvatron is my favorite character, so I'm a sucker for any toys of him. Dai-Atlas and Banzaitron sound interesting as well. Hope they look good.

Hmm, Galvatron sounds interesting, but I can likely pass on the rest. If this is true, of course. And yeah, how about some new molds, Takara?

Ditto, I'm interested as well. Although I'm more of a Starscream kind of guy, or hell, anything from the Classics lines, this is a definite interest. Banzai-tron as well. There's only two toys of him, the Action Master and the BotCon exclusive, both of which I'm not willing to pay for. It will be interesting to see how their designs will work out.

Oops, forgot about him. My bad.

I haven't opened Bumblebee yet because I heard that if you don't hold him just right his automorph gets stuck on something. I haven't opened any of the Seekers because of the issue with his shoulders and I don't understand what it is. I'll still get these though.

I'll buy them all except Banzai Tron. I actually hate the seeker mould more than Armada Laserbeak and Sideswipe.
