Deluxe Ironhide and Deluxe Crankcase

Hi everybody,
I already own HFTD deluxe Ironhide and I'm planning to get DOTM deluxe crankcase to be his opponent in one of my movieverse displays.
I was just wondering how well would they match. Are the vehicle-modes approximately in the same scale ?
I never saw a photo of those 2 guys together before (robot- and vehicle-modes). Does anyone here in the forum already made that comparison ?
Thanks for the info.

I'd suggest waiting on getting Crankcase for a good while. The first runs (I assume) have extremely long middle fingers, and in later runs those fingers were chopped off, badly! The current releases have the hands remolded entirely, but it'll be a while before those become commonplace.
Under the Paramount logo on the packaging, you'll find numbers imprinted. As a rule of thumb:
10131 is 100% safe, uncut fingers
10601 mostly has the snipped fingers.
The remolded hands are found in the 111** series, but some figures in that series have one remolded hand and one snipped. Keep the receipt should you need to exchange him.

I have a Crankcase (with fingers intact, btw) but no Ironhide to size him up against. I too was thinking of getting the deluxe Ironhide, so this comparaison interests me too!

I don't have Ironhide but I'd say they won't match, judging by how characters like Barricade have shrunk. Deluxes are a couple of cm shorter now. If the vehicle modes are supposed to be about the same size it won't work, however, DotM Ratchet is a good match.

I happen to have both, and Ironhide isn't as tall as any of you think. In an ironic twist, Crankcase is only slightly taller, not counting the claws. I could make comparison shots with my phone and upload them here.

It would be great to see them side-by-side in both robot- & vehicle-modes. If they match well, crankcase will be my first DOTM purchase !
Tahnk you very much for the help.

Actually, I like crankcase with the long fingers. If he fits well in my display I even may get a 2nd one. For the 2nd-one would be cool to have the remolded hands. What I really don't want is to see him with chopped fingers.
So, I also live in zuid-holland. Do you have any idea of which version is more common in the Netherlands ?
Thanks again for the info !

Where in Zuid-Holland? I live near Delft.

Unfortunately, the 10601 series seems to be the more common number now. That's right, chopped fingers. However, I may have spotted a trend with which chain gets which number:
Intertoys and Blokker have 10601.
Bart Smit had 10131 at one point.
I'll go sleuthing the next few weeks to see if there are any changes.

Small world...
The photos take a bit longer than expected, Crankcase's rubbery dread prevent some panels from aligning.
*EDIT* And here you go:

Thank you so much for the pics ! They look very very nice side-by-side.
And the scale is good as well: the Topkick (Ironhide) is a bit bigger than the SUV, and I imagine that's how they are in real life !
My deluxes Ironhide and Ratchet will really have a tough time fighting my (future) little army of Crankcase drones
