I recently bought DOTM Voy Ratchet, which is of course a repaint of the original Movie Ratchet from way back in aught-7. Since the Voys for DOTM seem to be smaller than before, I'm thinking of grouping this Ratchet w/ the HA line, along with Leader Ironhide.

I recall someone saying that Leader IH looked good w/ the HA figs, by which I mean in scale, but I'm wondering about Ratchet. So, if anyone has these 2 figs plus at least 1 HA fig, could you please post some pics of them in robot and alt modes side by side? Really curious. Thanks!

I own all ROTF HA figures and Voyager Ratchet. I would say Ratchet is too small to be part of a HA display with Leader Ironhide. Leader Ironhide (that I don't own yet) seems to be a good match to the HA display. Based on the impressions I have watching the movies, Ratchet should be slimmer and a taller than Ironhide.

I agree. Ratchet is two small to fit with HA.

I took a few quick photos in bot mode. As you can see, Ratchet just doesn't quite fit in although not much can be done about it unless we see a Leader Ratchet (hopefully in original movie colors). While they are at it, I'd like a Leader Blackout too. Then I'll be happy!

And this is one of the reasons I will not buy Leader Ironhide. The Levi's, the height, just none of it works for me.

You're welcome. I do think you should reconsider Leader Ironhide though. It is an excellent figure and the blue does not look bad in person.

Lapse, CP, thx for the pics. IIRC, Ratchet should be about the same as tall as Ironhide, right? But in one of the recent DOTM TV spots, where Ratchet puts his hand on Bee's shoulder, he looks to be about the same as tall as Bee. Contradictory.

Regardless, I think you're right, CP, that does look pretty cool. I might force myself to ignore Ratchet's lack of height.

My Ratchet there is crouching just a bit too.

It's really Bumblebee's head that's kind of out of scale.

It's just packing materials. You could always buy it and return it with a bee's nest in place of Elita-1. Or a used condom. Whatever. Wal-Mart will take it back.
