Jazz's silver REALLY doesn't go with the blue and red, for me. Still just Lego knockoffs - with enough skill you can make an ACTUAL Transformer out of Lego.

Jazz is probably the best of these smaller sets. And having both Spec Ops Jazz and this sucker, the head is close but not exact. :D

Legally they're not. The patents for the basic building blocks have expired a couple years back.

I must say they're a lot better than those Built to Rule sets during Armada, and considering the necessity for simplicity (patents you know?) I'd say they're not bad. I may get one to try out, since I was really into Lego back in the day.

ugh... this is going to be plauging this site for a while. unless kre-o starts to make actual transforming robots, as in learning from their mistakes, I really don't care, these are lame, and unless they will transform, and they wont, then these will be the ultimate shelfwarmers!

It's not that bad!

Sunday - Ratchet and Prowl
Monday - Starscream and Bumblebee
Tuesday - Sideswipe, Bumblebee (Basic), and Optimus Prime (Basic)

And later this week, I'll do Sentinel Prime and Optimus Prime (they're due to arrive tomorrow). Though I might stop with Starscream and Bumblebee so that I can get something else to tie in with the movie's release as I think general movie going people who come to Seibertron.com this (if you type in "transformers" on Google, Seibertron.com is in the top 10 results).

I love the headsculpts on these. Hey Seibertron, excellent gallery as always! I was wondering if maybe we could see some size comparisons to their Classics/Universe/Generations counterparts in the upcoming galleries? :D

I might actually purchase one of these guys in the near future.

I prefer the head sculpt for Kre-o Jazz. Not a fan of the skowl or frown on Special Ops Jazz.

Maybe pull a headswap? But looking at it again, the Kree-O's head is just a hair too large to fit through the hood of Spec Ops Jazz, darnit.

I saw these guys at Toys R Us yesterday and I almost bought one...but I didn't. Maybe next time though. I don't care that they don't transform, I just care that they're Transformers building sets.
