Need advice for a good DOTM deluxe figure to buy

Hi guys, i'm kinda unfamiliar with the dark of the moon toys and would like to have some good advice ona good choice for a deluxe class toy?
My Toys'R'Us received these figures recently and i want to make a great choice since i haven't purchased deluxe sized figure for quite a while.
Ideally i like figures that arent too frustrating to transform, dont have any bad flaws(chopped fingers) and have a great design and functionality. And i mostly buy Autobots, but i occasionally buy Decepticon figures that receive good praise.
This is what my store has.
Ratchet
Crankcase(can't find any codes to be aware of like the ones mentioned in other threads)
Bumblebee
Roadbuster
Skids
Barricade
Topspin/Twintwist(blue wrecker who i always forget the name of)
Optimus Prime(dont quite remember if he's deluxe class or if they had him)

The codes are found imprinted near the Paramount logo on the card. As a rule of thumb, avoid the 10601, snag the 10131. And Deluxe Optimus Prime is a Walmart exclusive.
I can tell you that Crankcase is a good figure, but just that. His biggest problem isn't his somewhat loose joints, but the rubbery dreads which get in the way of transformation.

Crankcase is indeed good; both his modes are pretty neat. The Dreads do get a bit annoying, but they work if you stuff them into the chest area instead of trying to flip them around or whatever the heck the instructions are telling you to do.
Plus, get yourself a deluxe Ironhide from the HFTD line and you'll have a great nemesis for him.

But which ones are good alternatives if it's a Crankcase with a bad number??
I mean are there any reports of Crankcases with 10601 the number in the Scandinavian region of Europe, i live at Iceland in this European region.

I'd have to agree that with your list, Crankcase is probably the best. If you don't care about scale, I've heard Ratchet is pretty cool too.

If you don't have a Bumblebee yet, that's always a decent option.
Topspin is also pretty good.
Crankcase's dreads annoy me...
Roadbuster is excellent.
Barricade is smaller than 2007 model, but looks better.
Ratchet is, well, Ratchet.
And avoid the Idiot Twins as much as possible. Skids and Mudflap just plain suck.

I haven't managed to save up for one yet, outrageous prices of deluxes here in Iceland is equal to roughly 30 buck in USD currency: 3.199 ISKR to be exact.
I forgot to mention that there wasnt a lot of Crankcases when i last checked yesterday, more like 1 sample of each character but 2 bumblebees.

I've spotted Crankcases with the 10601 number in the Netherlands so they are out there. He also seems to be shortpacked, with only one in a case of 8. The breakdown is:
3x Bumblebee
1x Ratchet
1x Starscream
1x Skids
1x Roadbuster
1x Crankcase
Worse, he is switched out in Wave 2, along with Ratchet and Skids. Get him while you can!
The regular Voyager Optimus Prime is so so, it's biggest drawback are the ugly cavities in the front and truck bed of the vehicle mode. He is slightly more accurate than the Voyager from the first movie, and heat shields and boosters make an interesting battle mode if you will. I wouldn't get him just to have Optimus Prime though.

As goes for what your walmart has, Topspin is beast. In fact, out of my DOTM collection so far, my faves are:

Voyager Ironhide
Deluxe Topspin
Deluxe Sideswipe (yeah, I said it)

Voyager Shockwave
Deluxe Starscream
Deluxe Laserbeak
Anyway, besides Topspin, I'd grab Bumblebee and Roadbuster if I were you.

Didn't you read the earlier posts? I mentioned that I'm from Iceland and the only reliable store near me for Transformers stuff is Toys'R'Us.

You can't beat Battle Blades BB, so once again, I'd grab Crankcase or RB. Roadbuster has grown on me a lot. I actually like him better than the HA one. Besides, BB will be around a while. Stay away from the Skids mold too. The figure doesn't even have knees...

Deluxe Optimus is a Walmart Exclusive, so you couldn't have seen the deluxe figure there.

@Gyrotron: Yea i should've remembered it that deluxe prime was a figure i thought i'd seen in my toys'r'us store- before i remembered that he's a exclusive.
@amcgrath929: Although i have little interest in him, Battle Blades Bumblebee has NEVER been spotted in any store here.
The only Bumblebee's i have are both from 2007 movie series... The 1974 Camaro Bumblebee and 2009 Concept Bumblebee(the one with the cannon/hidden energy blade weapon)

Ah, I see. Well then, maybe the new 'Bee is a good route. I've heard mixed feelings about him but at least he doesn't have monkey arms

A little bit late maybe, but a couple stores in my immediate area have some HtfD stuff on sale for only €10 a pop (like 1.642,45 ISK). The total list is:
- Battle Blade Bumblebee
- Rescue Ratchet (Deluxe)
- Ironhide (Deluxe)
- Axor
- Tuner Skids
Bumblebee is practically sold out, but there are still some out there.

What else can i say but none of these were ever seen, most of my stores have only progressed as far wave 3 series of the RotF toyline(mostly scouts)...a few HFTD scouts, wave 1 PCC deluxes, few PCC large sets and lots of various legends including RotF and HTFD legends.
But only Toys'R'Us has been slightly up to date with the shortpacked variety of shortpacked DotM Deluxes, a few Cyberverse Playsets, Cyberverse Legion and Commander Class(mor e like dwarf sized deluxes).
Even the Classics 2.0 and Universe series were literally nonexistant here except for Minicons and overpriced Voyager Classics.

Still haven't gathered money yet but while i was checking my Toys'R'Us store yesterday i noticed several Battle Blades Voyager Optimus Prime figures that were available for slightly higher price than the DotM deluxe figures go for.
Is the BB Prime worth looking into ?

Probably better than any of the other figures on your list. If he's not much more, I'd say definitely go that route...unless you already have ROTF leader Prime, then this one is a bit redundant as they're VERY similar figures outside of the size difference.
*although reconsidering your original criteria, this figure is pretty complex. If you don't enjoy involved transformations, this might not be your cup of tea.

WHAT??????????
Yeah, you should absolutely get BB Prime. He's the best Voyager Prime we'll ever get.

Just how complex is he? The hardest Transformers figure i have is a 2007 movie Thundercracker.

Man, I have a hard time suggesting much from the dotm line. I would go for Topspin, and then maybe I would grab a Crankcase. I don't personally like Crankcase, but I do understand why others would.
I agree that Voyager BB Optimus is as good or better than any other figures on your list, but I don't think by a lot. As stated, avoid it if you don't like a fiddly figure as well as one that is inferior to its leader rendition.

More complex than Thundercracker... Check out a video review and see if it's something you'd still be interested in. Here's one...I'm sure there are many others if this one doesn't float your boat:

Success i managed to sell off a few used ps3 games and now have enough money for a piece of Battle Blades Optimus Prime.
I just hope he isn't sold out befoe i get there, a price of 30$ USD equivalent is too good to let slide even if it's the last figure i'll be buying for a long time...otherwise i'll snag a DotM Roadbuster or any cheap and good figures.
