Dark of the Moon Wheeljack

Just saw the midnight of Dark of the Moon last night. It was AWESOME! :APPLAUSE: However... I've noticed a severe lack of DOTM Wheeljack toys. He was actually in the movie but he has no toy? Does anyone know if his toy is called something different? If you don't know who I'm talking about it, it was that partially bald headed scientist guy that handed out the weapons like the boom sticks and grappling hook glove. He was scene towards the beginning at NEST too. The one Soundwave killed before he went after Bumblebee. If he has a different toy name and you know it, please let me know. I'm DESPERATELY looking for his DOTM toy because I LOVE Wheeljack.

Note: If you're going to give away any details on the movie next time in the toy forum, please use spoiler tags. Not everyone has seen it yet. Give it time.

On Wheeljack: There are currently no "officially" announced toys for him yet, however, we did see what I remember as a Walmart listing for something like "DELUXE EURO LUXURY CAR", which is more than likely him, as there was also a listing for "DELUXE EURO SPORTS CAR" which is probably Mirage. Some people are saying they won't be out until September or after that, but we have no information on Wheeljack's toys at all.

I have a feeling he's just not released yet. Even at Botcon, they intentionally tried to hide characters we knew were coming(such as HA Soundwave, unless someone can come up with another yet to be released HA that they could be referring to as a surprise in Wave 3) during their presentation.

also *wheeljack* is not the only bot we have not seen a toy for. Dino (mirage), soundwave, brains, a deluxe leadfoot, or a HA topspin

Soundwave was listed, too. He's coming, don't worry. A Legion Class is confirmed for Soundwave.

Dino, Q, and Soundwave have Deluxe Class figures coming.
So does Leadfoot, but his is more tricky. The UK already has confirmation they'll be receiving the Deluxe. Problem is, he's the Target car here in the States, so he'll be a Target exclusive. He just hasn't been announced yet. However, since he's both a Target branded item and a Nascar official product, he'll see the light of day.
Brains, uncertain. He'd be a Legion Class, I'm assuming. He's awfully small, and there's no reason for him to be any bigger than that.

As for the Dreads, we're already receiving toys for them.

Crankcase: Deluxe Class Chevy Suburban (Currently released)
Crowbar: Legion Class police cruiser (Currently released)
Hatchet: Cyberverse Commander Class (Sighted once at retail, has yet to hit saturation)

Yes, he HAS been announced. He was announced at Botcon.

He's a Target exclusive in a two-pack with a Topspin repaint named Twintwist.

Yay: Thank you for the confirmation.
Nay: Oh, look! A figure that's absolutely worthless to me. Oh boy!

Well, good. Completing the Wreckers is one of my goals for the film. I've already got Shockwave, Megatron, Sentinel Prime and the released Wreckers. These future releases look interesting too.

Hatchet makes sense for a Cyberverse figure, and I actually like that his alt. mode isn't screen accurate. Tagging just in case.

Has there been any word on a deluxe Crowbar? I have an interest in Hatchet for the figures sake, but not too much in Crankcase unless I can get his other Dread buddy.

No word on a Deluxe as far as I know. Personally, I find the Legion figure to be pretty impressive. Rather intricate for a figure that small. Twist at the knees, the waist, pivot the chest, fold the feet. Pretty impressive for a figure the size of a Matchbox car.

And I agree about Hatchet. It just works, I say.

It would've been nice to have them screen accurate and make the same vehicle form three different molds, but this makes sure that they're truly diverse.

Plus it's a money maker. lol

this is off topic, but there is rumours of a wreckers triple pack, not sure if there will or if it is legion or deluxe. hopefully that helps the people talking bout leadfoot and wreckers

Totally agree with this. Along with the sheer lack of screentime anyway.

Correction: There will be a Deluxe Leadfoot sold by itself without the Target logos that will be sold at wide retail in addition to the Target exclusive two-pack.
