Will anybody be calling there Q Wheeljack because honestly when i saw Q it i was i didnt mind him in the movie and i will buy his figure as i am only getting new characters from the line but he will never be my movie WJ he will be Q (who ever Q is).

The same goes for Dino (who ever Dino is) he is not a sub for Mirage if they had changed there names to the original G1 i would not have questioned this but its bayverse nothings concrete.

ps, I cant wait to get soundwave and Q to reenact the execution that part was .

although i dont like it i will call them by what they were called in the movie. its a pet peeve.

I was glad they weren't Wheeljack and Mirage in the movie.
They didn't seem like Wheeljack and Mirage to me, but having them as the new movie-exclusive characters of Que and Dino (even if I do keep remembering the dino-dog the Flintstones had every time I say "Dino") suits what limited characterization these two had just fine for me. When the figures eventually come out, I imagine (Like Brawl from movie 1 who was listed as Devastator in the film) all the merchandise will probably call them Mirage and Wheeljack, keeping within the existing trademarked names, but these two will never represent any versions of those characters to me. I was fine with how they were in the film.

In the game they're called Mirage and Wheeljack. I thought Mirage was sweet in the movie but even better in the game (cloaking device, swords, etc.) Plus Wheeljack is my favorite Autobot so hey he may have looked funky but at least he made it into the movie

Its hard to say. Brawl was Devastator in movie 1 but Brawl was Brawl when the toy was released and over time Brawl became Brawl in the movie. Dino and Que are stupid names that hold no meaning to me. Maybe someone else is aware of either of these names being used anywhere in the TF universe but I currently am not.

If I were getting the toys, I could easily see a scenario where the toy personas took over and the movie identities disappeared just like Brawl. However, the DOTM line is thus far garbage to me and I won't be getting the toys. Therefore, for better or worse, they will most likely remain Que and Dino to me. Which I suppose is fine because neither got enough character development enough for me to care about their identities.

I haven't seen the movie yet, though Mirage looks sweet just from the trailer. All depends on how that translates in to plastic form.

So did they change brawl to brawl in later copies of the dvd ? i was not aware of that.

Dino and Q are cheesy names, Q was the that geezer in the bond movies! WTF? did they realy have to do it? and i too have no idea who they are.

Not trying to start a "thing" and this isn't directed at one person, more the whole forum.....but the movie has been out almost a week now. I appreciate that some people can't run right out and see it but how long does a Transformers forum have to maintain silence about a Transformers movie to protect those who haven't seen it from spoilers before its ok to talk about?

Seriously a legit question, no hostile intent at all. Its just the people complaining about being spoiled and the silver bars all over the forum to mask spoilers is starting to get old already.

Here's a thought: When I couldn't go out and see the first showing of the movie, I stayed away from this forum so that the movie wouldn't be spoiled for me. Notice how I didn't expect an entire forum to cater to my needs. I came back to the forum after I had seen the movie. Why can't people do that?

Maybe its my bad memory, but I don't remember all of this silver bar non-sense when ROTF came out and I certainly don't remember Mods pushing the silver bars to protect those who haven't seen it.

Either go see the movie already, stay out of the forums until you see the movie, or don't complain if the forum spoils something. Thats 3 solid options there that people have involving spoilers. Is adjusting the entire forum really necessary? Who's got the number here? How long is the period of silence going to last?

I actually don't really mind the name Que for Wheeljack, and since he looks nothing like Wheeljack at all anyway, that's probably what I'll be calling him. I'll call Mirage Mirage, though. Dino is a terrible name for a Transformer.

If they get released and I actually like them, I'll proabably call them by their screen names, because they don't resemble Wheeljack or Mirage. I forsee probably wanting to get Dino, but not Q, because his head was hideous. Dino may get renamed as someone else from G1. He probably makes a better Sideswipe than Movie Sideswipe. :p
