some of us are picky to as what we collect, some not so much. some are completionists, some are not. some only get what appeals to them. so share what you collect, specific lines, specific toys, only what you see in the shows/movies.

i will start.

i get only what i see in the show/movies. if i get something not in the show it has to appeal to me.

but the only one that does not have a show that i collect are the classics (RTS/generations/universe)
i got everyone from animated (arcee i am missing)
everyone from the first two movies
almost everyone from the unicron trilogy
i hardly have any from RID, beast wars and beast machines.

The movies and G1 show pretty much dictate what I collect, but I buy whatever appeals to me. The most I have from one continuity would be the movie universe, and the most of those from ROTF. The second most would probably be Animated and then Generations. I only have a few from the Unicron Trilogy since I was barely starting to collect Transformers then.
I'm pretty much trying to get the entire movie cast, although I might skip a few from the first film that I don't have. I'll probably continue buying Generations since I found them addicting last year and this year. But I might not get the Prime figures, so I might not get anything from the main line for several years if there are no movies or if the Prime series magically interests me.

Mostly I collect the classics lines. If I like the character enough I'll buy Japanese. And I'll include homages from the Unicron Trilogy in this statement too, and MPs. Just Neo G1 overall.

I buy some G1. Mostly the cassettes.

I also collect 3rd party figures. Where finances permit.

My sort-of goal is to get a Neo G1 cast of the Animated Movie. Not just new guys like Galvatron and Hot Rod, but also guys like the Insecticons and Devestator. And to think I missed Windchrager at retail ... I'm gonna have to pay way too much for him if I want to meet my goal.

I have a lot of g1 and will occasionally pick them up on e-bay, along with some Unicron3 and beastwars. No RID. I have a good number of animated and some PCC 2 packs, but I mainly go after CHURG that I like now. I make exceptions occasionally for movieverse that I feel fit in with the neo-g1 look.
Definitely not a complete-ist. I guess, I like a little of everything (including battle beasts). Starting to dabble in customizing/kit-bashing.

I display them like this G1 - everything else.(I need a bigger shelves )

I own a lot of moviestuff, AEC and Rid, but the biggest love currently is CHURG (awful acronym).

Whenever I have a lot to spend, I buy MIB/MISB Masterforce stuff. The prices are painfull, but the toys are so awesome.

Up until now it has been classics-verse and anything that may fit in (PCCs, a rare few Movie figs and most of the DOTM HA Basics) but I think I may start limiting my collecting more. But I doubt that will last at all.

In terms of lines I have:
-A smattering of G1 figs - Cassettes, Sky Lynx, Trypticon and G1 Prime and Megs on their own shelf
-Most of the new molds from RiD
-I used to have the entire Armada line, but I sold them all but 4 or 5
-Most of the Decepticons from Energon, about 8 Autobots from Energon
-About 40% of the Cybertron figures
-100% of the Classics/Henkei figures
-100% of the Universe 2 figures
-100% of the Generations/Reveal the Shield figures

I also own all of the non-TM Beast Wars figures, including the Japanese figures, minus one whom I'm on the hunt for.

I collect all sorts. I use to have a complete Armada line (that's when I started collecting), but no longer have a complete line as I got rid of figs and probably never will. I collect what's out there and what appeals to me. But I've always had a mixed of different lines. Right now I'm buying DOTM and Genertations. And once I got the ones I want from those I may go back to the past lines, like Armada and Energon to re-buy the ones I shouldn't have gotten rid of.

I collect Movie, along with anything that can fit into Classics.

I just buy what i think looks nice. Though after seeing dark of the moon i finally want a movie style bumblebee. So probably will get battleblade bumblebee

I'm the same way. I buy what I want, regardless of line.

Also, get BB Bee, it's a good figure.

Classics, generations, RTS..

Anything Fansproject makes and some perfect effect stuff.

I collect a little bit of everything, but I do have certain priority items:

- Japanese releases
- Beast Wars
- Generation 1
- Reissues
- Repaints

A combination of these 5 are murder for me Here are the lines I'm collecting so far:

- G1/G2 vintage and reissue
- G1 Japan
- BW vintage and reissue
- BW Japan

- Robots in Disguise
- Unicron Trilogy
- Universe

- Classics-verse
- Movie-verse
- Power Core Combiners
- Animated

- Collector's Items (like Hybrid Style, Labels, etc.)

I'm a whore for Transformers, basically- if I like it, I get it. I, too, used to have almost the whole Armada lin, but.....well IU ddon't want to talk about it anymore . I have something of just about everything in my collection: RID, Cybertron, Armada, G1 (reissues except for one) Energon, RTS, Classics, Generations, Animated, Alternators, MP, 3rd party, and movieverse.

I collect everything except PCC, which rubbed me the wrong way. I have a complete set of Masterpiece, Alternators, FP items, and Classics/Generations/RTS/Universe 2.0.
