Stress Fractures in hands?

I just bought Wreck-Gar and I also have ROTF Bludgeon. I know that these figure's hands are prone to stress fractures. My Bludgeon's thumbs broke off and both his fingers have very visible stress lines. As for Wreck-Gar, I've only equipped his axe a couple of times and I can already see stress marks on his 'palms'. Is there a way to fix this? like modifying their weapons maybe? Kinda sucks because they're both really nice figures.

You could try sanding the pegs/handles of weapons. The pegs on my Generations Thunderwing's guns were so large they were leaving stress marks on the holes under his wings, so I sanded them. The marks haven't gotten any worse, Mr. Travis Touchdown.

That's kinda what I thought about doing too. Wasn't sure if it would work. Thanks for the tip.

Also, I'm glad someone finally recognizes me ;)

Your weapon. I see what you did there.

If you go through with the weapon sanding, be sure to use a very fine sandpaper and move the paper around the peg/handle to keep it even. It's also a good idea to put the weapon in the hand every now and then to make sure you're not over-sanding.

i had the same problem with my wreck-gar and seibertron told me that taking a hair dryer to the stress marks will make it better. i tried it on my wreckgar and it worked, only try not to melt the plastic. but yeah sand down the handles of the weapons. and if the hand is broken off, nothing a little super cant fix ;)
