A brand new repaint version of Transformers Dark Of The Moon Deluxe Class Optimus Prime has surfaced over at Chinese auction website - Taobao.com.

There are some notable differences in the paint work such as gold colour flame, red colour windscreen etc. This figure is also spotted with DOTM Voyager Class Optimus Prime's Mech Tech weapon.




No further information on this figure at the moment.

it is the better mold imo out of deluxe and voyager, and the better gun imo out of deluxe and voyager.

One word to describe this repaint...HORRIBLE ! I mean good god...The golden on his previously silver painted parts just doesnt match and look weird. The red and blue doesnt really mix and look horrid. I gotta say HasTak really knows how to make a good figure transform to a piece of crap by just simply repainting it.

I am one of many that is actually impressed by the deluxe mold. I like the Voyager Mechtech weapon but I am going to hold out for Chronicles set that has nicer color scheme.

Looks good to me. The paint doesn't look bad, especially in robot mode. And of course, an actually good MechTech weapon that can remain in either form is great to have. I'll definitely get this guy if he comes over here.

This, but leader class. Though it's just pretty enough that I might buy it anyway. Gah! I need a DOTM Prime that's larger than Vgr. Ironhide, and whose head isn't the size of a peanut. haha

no matter what kind of paint you put on that its going to look bad, the mold is just bad nothing can save it

I would only get this just to get the voyager Prime weapon for $10 (or less once he is a shelf warmer)

But since voyager Prime himself is warming shelves, I may be able to pick up the original for around that, given some time.

There's a picture of him in box at SDCC. That's where I found out he was a WM exclusive, quite a while ago actually. It's pretty cool that he's confirmed to come here. I especially like the gun (as most who want this guy probably do as well, though I quite like the colours too).

Hate the Paintjob on Prime. I got the first version of the Deluxe and Like him for his truck mode size next to my Voyager Megs, that and the "Energon" axe without having to pay for the lame-o twins. Only reason I'd get this is to have another of the Voyager Prime weapon, which is the only thing that got an Improved paintjob.

That's kinda cool for a girl, or a G2 fanatic. I mean it's got pink and a peach color.

Wow. Like much of the Mechtech weaponry, it looks like a complete afterthought when mounted up there on its lil' post. Awkward.

The crazy gold scheme doesn't bother me as much as the fact than we get SOOOOO many VERY similar repaints of Prime and Bee.

I'd rather see new characters like an Ultra Magnus, Nemesis Prime/Scourge, Diaclone Prime, Shatter Glass... Even if they call them things crazy-wild random things to make the kids think they're still buying "Optimus Prime".... like this....
