You're very welcome. Indeed, the last wave is hard to find, but aren't all last waves like that? :p

By the by, you can set your own Tech Spec rating in your profile. Go to User Control Panel -> Profile tab, then scroll all the way to the bottom. :)

funny thing, spastic is everywhere here on clearence, and still no grimstone or steamhammer! Undertow/salvage are everywhere, and still no heavytread and airlift!

This might be more helpful, a list of good PCC figs. They are as follows:

Well? Anything? Or are you just disappointed by the fact the Drones don't have robot modes, thus not making them true combiners?

Besides, the OP intends to keep them MISB anyway. :P

Thanks JelZe, new to the forums page, but have been coming to site for years to help with research..guess i'm a closet collector..thankfullly, i have all the five packs and just need a few more 2 packs. The magic for me is the fact you can put 58 toys together, after trying to figure out how many different combination possibilties there are my "cogs and sprockets started smoldering". So i raise the question now to you that has been probably asked a million times before, and i just don't know it..Do i remove them from packaging for display, as it is the ONLY series i have that are all m.i.s.b, Also, do you know if there going to continue this line??

If you haven't opened them by now, I would just keep them sealed for display.
An entire small line like PCC completely sealed in display would look really nice if displayed well.

I don't think Hasbro has any plans on continuing this line, and I think they considered it more of an experiment than anything else. In a weird sense, I consider the Human Alliance Basics line their spiritual successor. Hell, HA Icepick is supposed to be the same character as PCC Icepick.

I never considered that..Thats a facinating perspective. Everybody bags on the pcc line and i just don't get it..Everything from the blue plastic inserts to the clear colorful mini-cons (especially backwind and caliburst)make this pretty for the eyes to stare at, and who wouldn't want all 5 dino's in one package??? I think hasbro hit it out of the park & will be sad to see it not continued.

I never considered that.. Thats a facinating perspective. Everyone bags on the pcc line and i just don't get it. Everything from the blue colored plastic inserts to the clear bright colored mini-cons (especially caliburst and backwind)makes this a pretty set for the eyes to stare at, and who wouldn't want all 5 dino's in one package. I realize the drone's don't tf to robot mode, maybe they could come up with a gen2 pcc that did. Speaking of which, to be honest that is why i left the 5 packs in the box in the first place. All my displays are in robot mode..

I just recently got my first couple of PCC 2-packs. Not impressed by the drones in the 5 packs. Its not entirely that they don't become robots, although I would have liked if they did, it's that despite not having to make these guys triplechangers (robot/vehicle/limb) they're pretty terrible arms or legs.

To the 2-packs though, I can only offer love. I got Sledge and Smolder and both are great. Their aesthetics are close enough to Classics/G1 type of bots that they fit in fine with the rest of my collection. Despite being somewhat tied to the movie line, these still look like real Transformers. I was a little put off by the Mini-cons being translucent at first but now I just look at it as them being Energon-powered for their weapon modes. They're both pretty posable robots, have decent somewhat unique alt-modes and the powered-up Commander mode heads (and option to add additional Minicons as extra weapons or chest armour) means they're quite versatile in how you want your particular one to look. A person could have 2 or 3 Sledge toys that each looked like a different robot, just with the different options for transformation.

I agree with JelZe about the HA Basics as well. I had a few of those before getting these PCCs but there's a definite evolution of the idea of lots of options for playing with them/displaying them. Some of the more creative and imaginative toys Hasbro has produced for the TF line for years. Personally, I'm getting Decepticon PCCs and Autobot HA Basics and using them as opposing factions. The Cons have their Mini-con power-ups/weapons/slaves and the Bots have their human allies.

That will be a cool display..I think the imagination end of it is what you hit on the head! I still haven"t had anyone tell me the possible amounts of combinations there are considering all the modes and being able to interchange. There should be a contest for that in the forum section. :) The best number we have so far is staggering. Can we say that about any other line? I might start off a firestorm here, but how many re-issues, repaints and anniversary issues of the same molds can we see anyway? It's almost tiring. I am not saying these are in the league of MP's or anything like that, but it combines new school with old school with attention to detail with simplicity. Being able to quickly change them and interchange them with out having to had graduated from m.i.t is whats so great about the whole line, and i never opened a box yet..So, So tempting though.. (It's like T.F. crack or something..Every time i walk in the room the boxes start calling me..)If they were difficult to tf with all the possibilites, no one would get them for there children which is why we ALL started this maddness, we call our mental escape,to begin with. For the price & availability (not having to fly across the country to a bot fest,) This might be one of the best lines EVER. People like to say they don't like these for some reason, but they DO. I spend way more time looking for t.f.then talking about them and believe you me there is a HOT market forming for these because the prices are already outragious, availability is fastly growing scarise in the overall market, and they were just on the shelfs a few months ago. In twenty five years, the reissue of the reissue of Bmblbee from the 3rd movie, that looks like the other 2 dozen that have been released in the last few years is not very memorable...One Simple little Red or Yellow vw bug that you can fit into your leaders magical trailer, and can transform in a matter of seconds is. Any Comments?? I am curious to what people think..
