I had to get a screw driver & un-screw the back of the robot head screw. then grab the robot head really tight & then turned it really hard. till the glue broke & the head turned around.
I noticed the lever making the face plate go up & down was on a tight spring that made the face plate stay on. I had to go inside the head & re-arrange the spring. to make the face plate push down to keep the under face on.
the hasbro spring arrangement keeps the face plate on. and only reveals the under face for a split second.
my spring arrangement allows the under face to stay on. with the face plate pushed down under the chin/neck.
don't worry my spring arrangement still allows the level to work push the face plate up/down.
