Sometime ago I ordered a bunch of stuff from Kapow Toys and they took weeks to send it then screwed the order up. They sent me an incomplete order with no explanation that something was out of stock and would be sent later. They took days to reply to emails and even gave me wrong information because they mixed me up with another customer. After messing me around for ages I asked for some sort of compensation as an apology. Their response was to cancel my account.

Months later I set up a new account with them from a different email address so I could pre-order MP-10. I emailed them to tell them that the links to Dark of the Moon toys were not working. The replied that they were working and refused to believe that they weren't (entering Dark of the Moon in the search box yielded results but clicking of DotM links gave an out of stock message). When I explained this and that I was surprised they weren't more grateful for my help they didn't reply.

Just now I tried logging in and discovered that they seem to have cancelled my account again. So what will happen to my pre-order?

Time to find someone else.

Kapow does my head in no1 issue you cant just browse unless thats just me it goes straight to log in then as i can never remember my password i get it sent to hotmail type it in and it never works i give up a while back and use toyzandgamez when needed.

Post this all over kapow toys present's youtube channel, on every vid. They cant remove your YT acc

But they can report him for spam and YouTube can remove his YouTube account.

Weird, Kapow are usually bang on.

Red Leader, the owner posts here on occasion and they can't sing his praises enough over at the 2005 boards, where he is an active member. Have you tried to PM him?

haven't had a lot of problems with them. for most stuff they seem a little bit more affordable than Toyzandgamez (although those guys did me a good deal on Skullgrin at Kapow Comic-con, where, ironically Kapow Toys was absent).

their site isn't the best. the DOTM links thing got me, because there were a few different sections, some of which had nothing in them. I wasn't terribly worried about it at the time I'd gone to look and figured it out whilst random browsing sometime after. There's other programming issues which I can't imagine can be that difficult to sort, but I let slide as, yes there isn't a whole lot of other options and yes, also, I can't actually point to a fault and say "this is how to fix this!".

I've posted here before about my dissatisfaction with their pre-order policy, as I'm a grumpy sort who likes to pay for my stuff when I get it, not 4months before, but I've been advised that is an issue with holding credit card details on file. I wasn't aware that paypal gave your credit card details to the people you are paying, but whatever. It's also a bit pants that you can't add stuff to orders that haven't shipped. HA Basics Whirl was sold-out for pre-order, but I got in in time to snag his wavemate Tailpipe, only to see them both come in stock with plenty of Whirls available.

I can't blame them for selling out of Bee, G2 Prime or the clear Prime/Rodimus Classics 2 packs when the add-ons for each became announced, that's just supply and demand, and a bit annoying. :p They've also been pretty good when I have had problems with orders. Cyclonus that I got had an assembly error, with 2 right hands. They offered to swap it, or refund me a few pounds. I soon realised that the one I had was actually better, as despite a goody left hand, he was now ambidextrous, when normally he just has a closed left fist. They missed my iGear Kup head from a bit order recently, but sent it out after a quick reply to my email with no fuss.

So...basically, I dunno. Sounds like you've had a bad deal with them. I've had no problems with them when I've been dealing with them personally, just think their website needs more work and see where they could improve some things.

They have a facebook page too. (just saying)

Usually places like that should be thankful that you brought it up and that your interested in purchasing from them.

I've always had trouble logging in with password resets never seeming to work. Toyzandgamez have always been fine for me though if you wantbto try an alternative.

I even sent them an email saying something about 'I thought you would have been grateful for me pointing out problems with your site' but they didn't even reply!

Im glad im not the only one thought i was it worked fine the first time and ive tryed over and over again since and no joy .
