This has probably been made before, but a quick search didn't yield any results, so;
What is the most advanced transformer in your collection. This takes into consideration:
Articulation + Poseability (especially useful sorts)
Transformation engineering + Convincing Robot AND Alt. modes.
Paint aps
Interactivity with other Transformers/figures/accessories
Special gimmicks (lights, sounds, mech-alive stylings, etc.)
X Factor (whatever makes it stand out as unique)
Aaaaaand, GO
(Mine would be ROTF + Fansproject Bruticus... but If I weren't to break my own rules and actually just say ONE figure... Generations Straxus)

Yea, but the back end looks like a 350z

They did always look sweet, good call... If I collected that scale, it would have been a must have. All I have is an Alternators Smokescreen. I wish they made some deluxe sized alternators.

Tough choice. Standalone, ROTF Leader Optimus.
Combiner, ROTF Mindwipe and Skystalker. Convincing, awesome alt-modes, scary-enough individual robot modes, ABSOLUTELY TERRIFYING combined robot mode.

Transformers G1 Bumble B. For it's time in the late 70's /early 80's. And of course G1 Optimus Prime, Jetfire and Megatron.
For Early 2000, I'd say Fire Convoy.
For 2004 up.the Masterpiece series and Alternity.

the 2009 hound/ravage toy.
The backward compatible of ravage is excellent.
Ravage and hound are both great upgrades of their previous molds.
On top of that, they have solid alt modes, and great robot modes.

I really still depends on the interpretations people have concerning the parameters in the question. There are still a lot of elements people can and will bring up. For me, it is really difficult question.
Off the top of my head I will agree with Hal 7300's suggestion that HA Jazz could be the one. It is the only figure I have experienced that makes me want to buy 3 copies of the same mold of the same character. I want to have one in bot mode, one in alt mode, and just to play around with. Here is why...
Both modes are ridiculous for their accuracy. It is just unreal how accurate the Solstice alt mode is. Just unbelieveable. Then the Bot mode is just as good! There are few figures that are as good in bot mode and alt mode with so little compromise. Both modes are just about as good as I have seen. And the the poseablity is as good as it gets as well. The balance and proportions are phenomenal.
Then there is the transformation. That is the best part! It is complex yet intuitve. It enough of a challenge the first time that you have to think about it. But it is always smooth-there are no pieces that make you think "will i break this thing?".
I don't look at either mode and think it is my favorite. I don't like the Pontiac Solstice (it is quite cute I guess). I don't like the bot mode Jazz had in the first movie. But this particular toy depicts its on screen character about as good as it possibly could.

I have to agree with some of you. HA Jazz & ROTF Leader Optimus Prime is my two most advanced. HA Jazz is fun to transform and just a great looking fig. Optimus is a challege, satisfying after you transform him and makes other tformers feel like you're playing with a fisher price toy.

Taking your guidelines into consideration, I couldn't just come up with one. For me it's a 3-way tie:
RotF Leader Prime
Alternity Megatron
MP-09 Rodimus Convoy

Altern
ity is actually deluxe sized.
Anyway, I'd have to agree R.I.D. Prime for its time was awesome.
Rubber Tires, complex transformations, great poseability, combination gimmick with himself and Ultra Magnus
Voice Clips, weapons, base mode, concealed weaponry.
I think he's one of the best out there.
Though Alternity gets extra points for their convoluted background story of time travel, and reality shooting guns.

@Prime Riblet's comment on HA Jazz, while I was battling myself to choose between ROTF leader Prime, Classics Prime, Classics Mirage, Classics Cyclonus, RTF Jazz, etc, I saw your post and man, I agree. Only one thing,
Prime Riblet wrote:no pieces that make you think "will i break this thing?"
Actually there was one when I first transformed him, the window on his right forearm when I tried to fold it in. Mine was very stiff that I was scared of breaking it. But after couple times moving it, it went smooth.

out of my collection...Breacher, Terradive, WFC Soundwave, and Kup are all just amazing figures.
Scourge is a fantastic robot out of a very very sleek alt mode as well.

I'm going to go with some choices that haven't been mentioned yet. I had to choose 2 because...well these two both tie for awesomeness/advanced-ness in my book.
G2 Laser-cycle Road Pig - Probably the first GOOD motorcycle transformer. It's transformation is very solid and complex for its time. It has a VERY accurate bike mode, and a robot mode that looks like a hulking ninja! Again, for its time, it was THE definitive motorcycle transformer. Hell, it's still pretty damn good even by today's standards.
Transmetal 2 Tigerhawk - Seriously, this guy is just epic. The transformation is enough to drive you crazy the first time through, but out of the 800 figures I have, his transformation sequence is the most satisfying. Both modes are epic, and his robot mode manages to be angelic (literally) and badass at the same time. Articulation is reasonably good in both modes too.

I prefer the Universe Razorclaw repaint, but yeah, it IS an awesome mold no matter the colors.

For Beast Wars, Tigerhawk really is like, the top of the line, none really have better engineering, or uses of parts. Great use of chrome and translucent, which was common then.
Idk about all transformers.
That's the thing though. Every generation or series has those really great figures. Tigerhawk is one the last BW toys, so it kind of 'figures' that he's the most advanced. They just got really good at making them by then.

That is a toughy - I'd have to say alternators Silverstreak pushed close by the RiD brothers.
To be honest any of the alternators actually!

Taking the combination of what the original poster said, I'd vote ROTF Prime. Then again I don't own too many figures, so many people here will have more to say. But for my own modest collection, ROTF Prime fits the bill.

i agree, ROTF prime is and always will be the most complex movie figure in my book. and the best

also another complex one next to prime is HFTD leader starscream.
