Okay, so there's a new Classic Voyager Megatron up for auction on a site I follow and I'm agonising over whether to get him.

I like his bot mode, well with the exception on the orange bits & wings, I also hate is nerf gun alt mode - but I only display my TFs as robots anyway.

Is Megs worth getting?

Is he a really good figure worth having or would I just be buying him to bulk out the outnumbered Classic Decepticons?

The only reasons I never got him was his alt mode and that he towers over Classics Prime waaaaay too much, which is a shame. He looks good in robot mode bright green wings aside.

I own two of him one in his origional colours and the other I repainted in G1 colours and yes he is 1cm taller than Prime admittedly it would be better if they were the same height but if you can excuse this and if you can get past the orange tips then he is well worth the price. Cool looking robot mode despite the green wings. in my opinion you should get him.

I say get him. He's one of three existing Megatrons' that has a gun mode, plus I like him in robot mode simply because he has a huge freakin cannon on his arm (Just make sure if you get him you go over the orange tip w/a Sharpie or soem black paint & also use a red Sharpie to give him red eyes) Get him. He's worth it, even if he does tower over Prime by a whole centimeter.

I got my Classics Megatron back in January with some left over Christmas money and boy was worth it!

Can some one post a pic of Classics Prime and Megatron together? The images in the Toys area make Megatron seem larger than 1 centimeter...please?

Hmmm, funds are abit tight untill next payday - I'm tossing up whether to get Megs(assuming I can win the auction) or to buy a "David Hasslehoff saved my life" tshirt and a Pac Man belt buckle.

Life's decisions can be hard :-?

I think I'll try to win that auction as Classics Megs is not in stores here anymore and my classics shelf is real one sided.

Get him now. Painting the scope tip black and the gun tip grey is not beyond your ability.

You can mod the wings so that you only have to put them on in alt mode. He looks brill without the wings, and his balance is much better.

I just returned from a trip where I happened upon a Classics Megs in a store, bought it, and damn am I impressed. I never did think the colours were all that bad, and I'll be damned if the gun mode ain't grown on me...

I don't know anything about him, apart from most classics toys are pretty cool. So I don't see why not buy him. My brother has lots of classics :lol:
