I have been fiddling with the Ultimate Prime Trailer today and found that perhaps hasbro intended the trailer to be used with leader prime truck mode. You see the small tab that connects the trailer with the ultimate prime truck mode has a small hole drill into it. As far as ultimate prime is concerned you dun need that hole to attach truck to trailer but however you need the hole to attach to leader prime's truck mode. Anyone notice this? Give your thoughts

I have a hypothesis for your kind discussion dear seibertronians. The ultimate prime design was introduced to us much earlier than jetwing prime and long before the actual DOTM movie itself. We can see that Ultimate Prime lacks screen accuracy in comparison to Jetwing Prime with regards to the prime we say fliying in the movie. Could it be that just like previous cases ultimate prime is based on a earlier concept design in the DOTM that combine prime with the trailer which were drop later in the final version of the movie, since we never actually saw prime combining with the trailer in the movie rather it was mildly implied. Where else dear Jetwing Prime is based on the final design in the movie. What u guys think?

Well, reviewers like Optibotimus has the opinion that the trailer looks much better with the leader class truck mode, but I have to digress by saying it is not a very good match given that the trailer is no.1 not long enough to be in scale with leader truck and the back wheels of the trailer is much smaller than the leader class. In terms of size it simply does not fit perfectly well with leader class truck mode.

I cannot stress enough that DOTM prime only has 1 pair of wings! the other are much
smaller and go on his thrusters

and the wings are black! If takara jetwing was given some chrome or more paint apps, i'll buy it. for now, pass, in hopes of a new leader class with a trailer.
