Is MP-01 trailer compatible with RotF Leader?

I'm not a fan of the Ultimate Prime that will be coming out for DotM, but I did think Prime looked damn good with a trailer in the movie. So, as the title says, does anyone know if the trailer for MP-01 fits RotF Leader Prime without or with minor modifications? If so, it might be worth buying the trailer...

Not sure about the connection and don't have them near right now to check...but I would assume it would at least take some rigging to connect. However, doing a quick search for it on google, it doesn't look too bad:

Now I'm really kicking myself for having passed on MP-4. Pre ordered MP-10, but due to the downsizing of the fig, I doubt the trailer's gonna fit LC ROTF OP...d'oh!

Acctualy,MP-10 is closer to size of Leader class Optimus than MP-1,so the trailer might fit.

Okay, I busted these out and the trailer actually attaches to the hitch better than I expected. It doesn't attach perfectly as the hitch is wider than the trailer peg so it's a bit of a loose connection, but I didn't really expect it to work at all. The only thing is the pic I put up earlier isn't an accurate depiction as they're not attaching trailer peg to hitch, but rather just resting it on the back. Here's what it looks like actually attached:
The other option is (shy of a mod to add a better placed trailer peg) there is a space in front of the hitch on Prime and a stand that folds down on the trailer that technically works:
Looks like the right placement, but the elevation looks a little strange to me. Ideal would probably be somewhere in between these two...

I think it looks good overall, but there is something strange about the proportions or something maybe. Not real sure what it is, but there is a little something off to me. Also, I would like the wheels to match the truck and the trailer.

I prefer it the way it is in the first shot, or at least the mod with the peg like you showed. The other way the trailer is too far from the cab. Also, it looks a bit off because I think the trailer is too short for that style of tractor.

That's great news! I can't wait for MP-10 to come out and try his trailer on Jetwings OP [when HE comes out, too]!

Damn. I was dead set against buying MP-10, even though I liked the truck mode. But if the trailer is also very good, it might just be considered. But not right away. $250 is still too damn much.

Yep, that is what it is. Thanks for posting the pic for a reference. I thought it was too stubby. It doesn't look too bad though, but I agree with Rodimus earlier-$250 is just too much.

Yeah, that's the supposed starting price for MP-10.
And I acquired a MP-01B which arrived yesterday and included a cardboard trailer. I put it together and added it to Leader Prime, and size-wise it's acceptable. Just to see what a real trailer would look like...
I still want to see what the Ultimate Prime trailer looks like behind Leader Prime.

This is correct. For a trailer to be in scale with ROTF Prime, it needs to be roughly 20 inches long and about 3.5 inches wide. I've actually done the calculations myself.

^^ That looks a bit ridiculous. Maybe try it with HFTD voyager Prime. But you's still need to do something about those sh*tty unpainted rims on the trailer.

Oh wow. Thanks guys. The MP trailer definitely looks better, even if it's not long enough. The Ultimate trailer is just too off. Too short and too low for Leader Prime.

And this is why kitbashing exists. With 2 Ultimates,I could make a much better trailer by also cannibalizing parts from my Leader Class RotF OP.

Too bad I suck at kitbashing. One exception being my modified RiD Omega Prime.
