Has anyone gotten a TRU/SDCC Masterpiece Rodimus Prime? TRU's site has not changed and my local stores ain't got squat.

They definitely made more than 500. That guy in the thread I posted is getting extras, try him out.

I think it's a little early to start seeing him. Technically it is after Comic Con though. I just about went in to look for one at a local TRU today but I figured I would wait.

They haven't hit the Distribution centers yet as of yesterday, but the TRU computer says there is 10K on order, which is 3K more then Grimlock got.

Where did you get this information? Do you work at TRU?

I work there seasonally but I am friends with the Manager and a Pillage the computer when ever I need information. I will check again this weekend. I know the new product is rolling in the next two weeks for the Xmas reset.

This is true, the next two weeks Smurfs, Halo, Tf's, ect, all are coming in. My TRU's truck days are Friday here so I'll be there waiting to snap up some more Roddy's, one for me and a few for the unlucky.

that's frighteningly low numbers, That's basically saying one case per store in the Western states.

Patience is the key here, more will definetly show up in the near future. I'm in the same boat as you right now. I refuse to pay the scalper prices on ebay, and even BBTS was selling them for $119.00 and their preorders sold out fairly quickly.

If push comes to shove I may just opt for the official Takara version.

Haven't seen any our way yet. Asked my friend who works there to keep an eye out.

My TRU got only four of them, and they were bought by the same person in the morning. That's it. They're gone. This is such bullshit.

All I want is one of these to open.

This figure is going to get raided until nothing is left.

I couldn't take it anymore and bought one on eBay. A search for "MASTERPIECE RODIMUS PRIME" now takes up 4 pages on eBay, and the prices are getting worse by the minute. Some sellers are even selling entire cases of 4 toys that didn't even make it to the floor at TRU stores.

a thousand maybe more went to the SDCC 2011 convention.

hasbro mentioned at TFcon that they gave some english package with no bi-linguel stickers MP Rodimus to canada for their first shipments on it. sounds like canada Tru stores got some TRU Usa stock of hasbro usa rodimus.

Paying $119 for hasbro's TRU MP Rodimus makes ZERO sense. I'd just wait for the takara version 2.0 MP Rodimus to come out. then then buy the version 1.0 Takara rodimus when the price dratically drops.
