It just occured to me that having not seen DOTM yet (I have reasons) I have managed to pick up more TFs compared to ROTF...whoa! So in realizing this it pleases me that I can acutally pick and choose not having to grab every single TF under the sun or from DOTM. I'm even more pleased that the different classes allow me to choose the best TF without doubt or doubt within reason.

Examples...Fireburst Voyager Prime was great for me. I really like the ax and will keep it that way til I can get my hands on his cannon then he'll be top shelf! HA Roadbuster (who is the best HA DOTM so far) after patiently awaiting for Highbrow to arrive I mounted his machine guns onto RB hands and gundam, does he looks so bad ass! I picked up Cyberverse Crankcase with doubts but after turned out to be a great choice. BTW BB/Megatron, gun in the 2 pack that I gave to Blackout fits Crankcase perfect and so does Hatchet's too. That being said Blackout who I thought was lame from previous molds is a great Cyberverse choice though lacking some articulation.

I got Voyager Shockwave with doubt and was then suprised on how cool he really is and finally Cyberverse Megatron/BB pack. I never cared for movie-verse BB so into a kids hands (my nephew) he went. But Megs who I have dubbed Motormaster is a great choice despite his crab like hands and looks cool without the tank mounted in alt mode.

Now all of these that I have mentioned are in their respected classes. But I have no plans on getting another of the same figure in a different class. Yeah there are acceptions to any rule but for the most part I'm standing fast with what I've chosen so far. I think the 3 versions of Sentinal Prime are sh*t and so are ALL the BB in this line thus far. BTW can anyone tell how many BB have come out so far since the first Bay film? Just figures alone not counting race cars or those stomping toys, just curious.

So are TFs like Pokemon and you "gotta catch'em all", same fig but different classes? Your an Ironhide fan and you have to have every single Ironhide fig in every class? I will get the Ironhide/Leadfoot pack then I will have one of each and be happy not needing any other. Do you enjoy having more than one class having representation of that TF? Is it simply a collection of all deluxe class and a collection of all legions/commander?

well, Say they make Leadfoot as a deluxe, and he's got his armored mode goin on. However, the bot' mode is lackluster and the human alliance mode is NOT armored, but HIS bot' modes just fantastic! If you want the best of both worlds, you gotta cave in for two figures sometimes. me? I love deluxe leadfoot to death, and he's not even out yet! I have deluxe topspin, who is armored, and deluxe roadbuster, who is stock. this bothered me, so with some minor tweaks, he's also got an armored mode for his deluxe form. you can see pictures of it in the link in my sig, not that anyone cares...
anyhoot, sometimes you have to comprimise, and if you get an awesome figure, then a better version comes along, you should get that better version, and maybe you can tweak what you like about the old one into the new one, or take the added accesories from the new one, and put them on the old one, I bought like, 5 different voyager Ironhides, just so my jungle Ironhide can have a huge stockpile of interchangeable weaponry. it's worked out fairly well in the long run!
as for those bumblebees.... the only relly good versions are
A. Battle Blades for a good deluxe
B. Human Alliance for, well, human alliance's sake, and he's pretty cool.
C. Dotm Deluxe/Cyberfire BB. I have the regular deluxe, but I think I'll pick up the cyberfire version for the bitch'n paintjob! He'll be my hotshot, just like fireburst Prime is my Energon Rodimus... DON'T STEAL THAT IDEA PLEASE!

If I like the look of a figure then I buy it. I don't need lots of versions of the same figure but if the same figure appears in different classes and is good then I'll buy them. My TFs are displayed in different scale classes.
