I read this on Wikipedia:

Based on the Transformers Classics toy line, the Timelines 2007 story is set 15 years after the end of the Marvel Comics story (ignoring all events of the Marvel U.K. and Generation 2 comics). Dreadwind, now without his Powermaster or his partner Darkwind, is one of the troops commanded by Big Bite, under the ultimate command of Bludgeon.

I know Wikipedia articles are not always 100% accurate, due to the "anyone can write" nature of the site.

Since Bludgeon is mentioned as being the ultimate commander, I started thinking of Cybertron Unicron. I always thought it'd make a good Bludgeon repaint.

Could Cybertron Unicron repainted / remolded as Bludgeon possiblly be one of the unannounced figures? Keep in mind Megatron - a major player - was an extra exclusive "souvenior" last year.

Speculation abound!

As much as it sounds bogus, I would love to see that happen.

Deluxe Unicron is a splendid figure, a great mix of Unicron and Bludgeon, he would make a great convention exclusive that would be a sure-hit with fans!

I'm always up for more cons!! As much as I would like to see this happen, I just don't see the add-on set being cons. I think we'll see a pretty even spread bots and cons.

But I'd love to be wrong about it.

That's yummy I love the green for the tank parts while the 'inner parts' have the classic colours from Bludgeon's shell - a good mix of the Pretender shell and inner 'bot colours from G1.

Where did that come from?

Umm, Dreadwind's partner. They combine to make Dreadwind.

I think the comment was on the spelling. DarkwinD as opposed to DarkwinG.

When i got Deluxe Unicron for Christmas i thought the same! Its just Bludgeon!

It's kind of like an inverted Pretender. Instead of the human like shell covering the tank, the tank is covering the human!

That picture was drawn by littleiron, and then Josh "dcJosh" Burcham (sp) "slapped" on the Bludgeon colors. Here's the link:

That mold would suit bludgeon a hell of a lot more than Unicron.

Yeah, i agree. That's easily Bludgeon right there.

I wish they released this in the classic line. I thought the same thing when I saw that figure. I haven't bought one yet in hope they turn him into Bludgeon.
