DOTM Cyberverse 'Cybertronian Warriors Pack' Released at Retail

Transformers collectors, there's another set to look for while on the hunt for figures at retail. Seibertron was able to find the newly released 'Cybertronian Warriors Pack' today at a Toys 'R' Us in Downer's Grove, Illinois, for a price of $39.99 + Tax. The TRU exclusive set contains the Autobots Bumblebee (with Mobile Battle Bunker) and (Commander) Ironhide, versus Decepticons (Legion) Barricade and (Legion) Crankcase. Bumblebee has minor paint changes (battle-damage), while Ironhide features copper details rather than grey. Barricade and Crankcase are both white, varying from their original releases. Check out the images below!

The report of plasma cannons and the gnash of metal echo through city streets - four elite warriors are locked in an epic battle that will seal fates and alter destinies. It was battles like this that turned the TRANSFORMERS home planet CYBERTRON to scrap. The stakes are high - those with superior leadership and weaponry will triumph, while tactical errors risk deactivation, dismantling and eternity in the enemies' junkyard!

Cool..Im starting to have space issues with all of these playsets. The ark alone takes up a ton of space and Ultimate prime, well almost takes up a whole shelf..

if hasbro was smart they would come up with their own line of shelving, transformer themed. That stuff would sell like crazy..

$40 is utterly ridiculous for this set, it's more expensive than all the included figures separately!

Crankcase's deco is nice here, though. Does Bumblebee's Battle Bunker (BB's BB?) actually have the :BOT: on the ramp?
Nice little space bridge warping behind Ironhide.

I like the decos on all these pieces, including the bunker, better than the originals. I especially like the matching decos on Crankcase and Barricade. Even the background is cool. That being said, it is ruined by the insane price tag.

WTF!! I was waiting for the gold color gun version of ironhide to be release all this time. And now they decide to put him in this god awful effing set to make people buy the other garbage that hasbro can't sell.

Crankcase does look pretty cool but the set is not worth $40, you can buy all those figures by themselves get some paint to repaint them and youll still have money left over. TRU has no idea how to price their stuff.

This is about 5 bucks over priced. And usually when they come in a pack there a little cheaper then buying them all seperatly! Like it, but not 40 bucks like it.

Isn't this the set that homages the unfortunate accident on set?
I like it, but it is overpriced. Hopefully it'll go on sale quickly.

Yeah. At the TRU close to me they still have an abundance of the white Demolisher w/ twins, ROTF figures and Robot Heros from the second film still.

Ironhide looks good with the gold bits; but everything else in the set is not particularly interesting.

Barricade's deco looks a bit better than the individually sold figure; but neither looks as good as the original black Legends Barricade from which it was remolded.

White Crankcase? Pass.

Battled damage painted on Bumblebee? Shrug.

Bumblebee's Battle Bunker didn't interest me before; making it gray doesn't change that.

I have a feeling we're going to see lots more Cyberverse repaints of this sort. It seems to be a successful line; and I have a suspicion that Hasbro is enjoying higher margins on these figures.

Yeah, I remember seeing a more purpleish colored Crowbar in one of the botcon pics.

Ahhh, good call. Wonder why it's called the "ultimate gift set" as there all re-paints?

I wish Hasbro would stop using that Bumblebee mold. How many times did we get that one now, first movie, second movie and now the third. For each movie i've seen that mold cover the shelves. It's an ugly inaccurate and outdated Bumblebee mold. I'd like to see a newly sculpted Legends movie Bumblebee that had better articulation, proportions and got rid of the oddly shaped wings on his back that can't be posed at all.

*breaks out the ol' reliable calc-a-later*

Bumblebee with base: $14.99
Commander Ironhide: $7.99
Legion Barricade: $4.99
Legion Crankcase: $4.99

Grand total (if purchased separately): $32.96

If purchased together as a set, you're spending: $7.04 more. That's another figure, basically.

When did special box stickers and redecos become so expensive?

Let's make it even better. Target last month sold Bumblebee with the base for $2 less, which you could use on their Ironhide/Leadfoot pack which was $2 more than a Commander figure alone (i.e. free Leadfoot!). IIRC the Legion had a small price cut too, so you paid even less and got a free figure for it.

I hope the Ultimate Giftset is reasonably priced, I really like the decos (though I'd call Powerglide 'Sky Shadow' since he seems to be based on the Fuzor). It's contents would be $31 separately, around the same amount as the TRU one, actually.

O_o I didn't know those bases were on sale. Dang it. I could've bought the orbital thingy with Starscream. Crap. Crap in a hat.

That's actually the new Cyberverse Bumblebee mold. This will only <cough> be the fourth time we've seen it. (Individual, with the Battle Bunker, the Cybertronian Warriors pack this thread is about, and now this "Ultimate" set.)

It's an ugly inaccurate and outdated Bumblebee mold. I'd like to see a newly sculpted Legends movie Bumblebee that had better articulation, proportions and got rid of the oddly shaped wings on his back that can't be posed at all.

The new Cyberverse Bumblebee mold features different arms and legs from the old Legends mold; though the chest/head transformation is unchanged. Note that the old Legends mold has itself been reused in Cyberverse: for the Walmart exclusive Bumblebee/Soundwave/Rodimus set, the Target exclusive with the black Megatron recolor, Bolt Bumblebee, and the Toys R Us exclusive Bumblebee/Starscream four-pack.
