I know this has probably been done before but just to go against the negative threads we have had lately and to brighten the mood.

How about we give our thoughts on our favorite or just that one that suprised you transformers and giving some recommendations instead of condemning those that dont meet some peoples satisfaction.

All the negativity is just fun and games.

My absolute favorite TF ever, the single TF I would save from a fire (after my kids, just before my wife) is God Ginrai. So much awesome in one box is near lethal.

I just got into collecting transformers again (not since I was a little kid of course, with tons of g1 goodies long since disappeared), so my pool to choose from is relatively small.

Considering the nostalgia factor, I'd have to say my favorite current transformer is the original mint condition G1 Outback I got on ebay recently. It was one of my favorites as a child and it brings back a lot of memories.

Of the new stuff, I'd go with my DOTM Leader Ironhide - it's not perfect, but I love all the gimmicks it comes with, both modes are well represented, and I like the simple transformation.

My favorite (that I own) is DOTM Deluxe MECHTECH Starscream.
There's like only two molds of movie-verse Starscream that I dig: ROTF Leader-class and DOTM Deluxe-class.
Ever since seeing Starscream in action I've liked F-22 and owning a TF model of one is awesome!

My all time favourite is also God Ginrai. Feel in love with the mold in its Powermaster Prime edition, a friend of mine had that toy. I was so glad when I got the God Ginrai reissue back in 2006.

However, I do have favourites from other lines:

Japanese Beast Wars: Rartorata (US: Injector). So ugly, he's cool. Being a Herald of Unicron doesn't hurt.
Classics: Turbo Tracks.
Dark of the Moon: Skyhammer

House on fire, going to lose all my TFs, I'm gonna save Masterpiece Prime and Grimlock. And, at that point, that's probably when all I collect is masterpiece.

Man I have to say it's a toss up between DOTM Ultimate Optimus Prime and Kreon Optimus Prime. They're both absolutely amazing. I love the Kreon sets and Optimus with trailer, etc. is by far the best one. Love his look too. I also love Ultimate Optimus Prime. I don't know it just feels that at last I have a complete movie-verse Optimus Prime (with trailer )

Right now, my Titanium Series G1 Ultra Magnus, though I also like Robot Masters Smokesniper, Cybertron Ransack GTS and, weirdly, the Giant Planet Minicon Team - they have such nice alt modes and robot modes (which is pretty rare for minicons) and Overcast is the badass-est tiny 'former I've ever seen. Plus they can join together to help each other over all terrain! Just a really nice group of minis.

But tbh in the fire situation, Magnus would win out no contest.

I'd have to say the reveal the sheild lugnut. He has a great transformation and just looks great. The same goes to my other favorites, gens warpath, rts wreck-gar, gens kup, pcc grimestone, and last pcc steamhammer.

For movieverse I'd say ultimate optimus prime, leader ss, and the rest of the movie toys.

sorry I couldn't pick just one, but I'm sure I could carry them all out at once after the girlfriend and animals were safe, though I'd have to grab my laptop, xbox and guitar as well, I guess I'm saying I probably just wouldn't make it out alive!

I'd have to break it down by series:

1 ) A/E/C: Cybertron Leader Prime, Voyager Evac. And all repaints thereof. Prime is probably the most PLAYABLE Leader Prime we've had in a LONG time, as well as with homages to Star Convoy, Powermaster Prime, and more, while Evac is still one of the best Helicopter molds we've had to date (Voyager Skyhammer comes pretty durn close to dethroning him, however).

2 ) Classics, etcetera: RTS Jazz is my personal fave of the line, here, though the Seeker mold pretty much also is frelling awesome, as it fulfilled a personal dream - a recognizeable F-15 that transforms into a mostly cartoon accurate Seeker, no matter how it's painted.

3 ) Animated: Leader Ultra Magnus is just plain fun. As playable as Cybertron prime mentioned above, and it kept the animated aesthetic despite a very blocky vehicle mode.

4 ) Movieverse: Another tossup - this time between Human Alliance Jazz, and ROTF Leader Prime (and its variants), for multiple reasons.

5 ) Other: Masterpiece Grimlock (Takara version) and 20th Anni Prime without a doubt, and Music Label Soundwave for the icing on the cake. 20th Anni Prime even got me back into collecting.


BUT... if I had to drag it down to a single figure... it'd be 20th Anniversary Optimus Prime.

Toss up between Lugnut and all the seekers. Lugnut has a great robot and alternate mode and the transformation sequence is fun without being too tedious.

With the seekers, its more about just having all of them. Something I never did as a kid.

any and all classics and its continuations. but if i had to save one TF out of my entire collection it would be my first transformers. BW terrorgator. the amount of sentimental value in that one TF is ridiculous.

G1 Soundwave.

Mine would be RID(Car Robots?) Railracer(JRX?), 1st TF I've gotten after almost 10 years.

But as for favourite TF, It still is SDCC universe nemissis prime. The colors look great on that prime mold

My favorite would have to be my most recent acquisition which is HFTD Battle Blades Optimus Prime and my alltime favorite Deluxe Class Classics Optimus Prime
