Thoughts on Cyberverse

I am wondering why there are two sizes here, does it have anything to do with scale? Anyway, I'm impressed with the Ark. I find it to be better than expected. Nice design and found the paint apps were a little better than I heard they were.
2 issues:
1. The commanders seem a little big for the Ark.
2. The legion class figures are disappointing and look and feel like they should have came in the bottom of a cereal box.
I currently have the following:
Ark Playset
Commanders
Prime - w trailer and 3D
Sentinel
Blackout
Hatchet
Legions
Topspin
Leadfoot

1. If the Ark was to scale with the figures, it would be the size of a desk and cost $1000. Or, to put it another way, if the figures were made to the scale of the Ark, they would have to be about half an inch tall, smaller than WSTs.
2. I think the Legion figures are just as good as most Legends figures, which is basically what they are. In fact, some of them are repaints of Legends figures. Saying they should have come in a cereal box is extremely hyperbolic. Cereal box toys are usually more like Happy Meal toys.

Usual comments about scale apply. I'm sure Hasbro wanted to hit a pretty affordable price point with this. (And, frankly, it strikes me as one of the more appropriately-priced Cyberverse pieces.)
2. The legion class figures are disappointing and look and feel like they should have came in the bottom of a cereal box.
That's overstating it. (Well, maybe not by much in the case of Topspin.) However, I do think the $5 price point for these things is kind of ridiculous.
That said, I'm for the most part pretty impressed with Cyberverse. It's even inspired me to track down a few Legends figures that I'd passed on before. Some of the Commander class figures are especially impressive in their level of detail. (
Three pieces of fold-down landing gear on Powerglide? Nice.) But like most lines, there are both real winners in the mix along with outright duds (<cough>Starscream<cough>).

Kreons look good with the Ark. They're closer to scale too.

My only real objection to Cyberverse are the figures that have only one hand. I loathe that. There is no reason not to give them two!

I actually quite like the cyberverse line, I have most figures from the first 3 waves, and the commanders do impress me, i like the legions as well but I think they should be priced a little cheaper.
The ark is great too, and yeh the commanders are out of size, basically its aimed for legion use.

I guess i will chime in as well since i have almost all including the ark which i bought for my 6 year od daughter and she enjoys the heck out of them.I even find myself giving her most of my deluxes and some voyagers as well.I think hasboro aimed these more for kids and parents dont mine shelling out $5-$7 for a figure compared to $40 for a leader.
I would rather them make more leaders as i dont mind to much about scale since i like bigger transformers anyhow, i think these close that profit gap so they could develop figures for the adults or collectors imo.Sorry guys got a little off topic there As for as commander size figures fitting in the ark i have managed to fit optimus in the cockpit as well as ironhide but you do have to get creative such as partly folding or transforming ironhides leggs.
And please one more note if i may about the commanders, i think they hit a homerun with these the detail is great for instance the resemblance that cv ironhides transformation is very similar to leader ih and sentinel isnt to far off and cv blackout is kick @ss i mean its alot better than the voyager imo.

All that really matters to me is that the Ark comes with Roller. I've got the Optimus with the trailer & 3D Optimus, Sentinel and Megatron. The only other one I'm even considering is the Ratchet set and that's just because I'm a sucker for extraplanetary rovers.

Yeah, I also believe Cyberverse Blackout is better done then his Voyager self.

I have been really impressed with the Cyberverse figures. I currently own 9 cyberverse figures and the Autobot Ark. Even though some of the figures don't fit in the cockpit, I think Hasbro has done a good job.

Ditto. I'd even love to see them make some sort of Decepticons ship

Yeah, it would be cool if Hasbro made a Decepticon ship or even the Xantium.

I have the Preview Optimus, Optimus with trailer, and just bought Ironhide and Sentinel Prime the other day. Love each one so far. Great little toys.

Back in 2007 a Philippine fast food chain joliebee had repaints of the TFTM ledgends figs as their kids meal toys.
