We finally get to put faces to names with in-package images for a Dark Of The Moon Deluxe Wave 5 release and a Wal-Mart Deluxe exclusive. Pictures of an orange Roadbuster were revealed earlier, and it's now known as Track Battle Roadbuster. The mold is a repaint of the original Deluxe Roadbuster and even retains the same Mechtech weapon. This version of the Autobot leader is called Lunarfire Optimus Prime and features gold/yellow paint apps. He wields Voyager Optimus Prime's Mechtech weapon. The images also solidify the change for the later waves of DOTM toys, as the bottom of packaging has shiny lining much like the Target exclusives. Check it out below!

Track Battle Roadbuster
Supercharged and ready for action, ROADBUSTER is itching to try out his newest weapon against any DECEPTICON dumb enough to show his face. The AUTOBOT tinkerer has souped up his engine, boosted the output of his cannons, and reinforced his armor in anticipation of the next big battle. He can`t wait!

AUTOBOT RATCHET just modified his leader's vehicle mode with a gleaming Cybertanium coating designed to withstand the most punishing conditions in the galaxy! With his stunning new paint job and ultra-powerful ion cannon, OPTIMUS PRIME, the mighty leader of the AUTOBOTS, is tuned up and ready to roll out!

That Roadbuster looks like the pre-production concept version of him. I guess that's where they got the colors from. And I'm still hoping for a weaponized version of him, like the deluxe Topspin and the upcoming deluxe Leadfoot.

i think hasbro is missing a great oppurtunity in their choice of repaints. i think they should repaint/remold the wreckers into the stunticons and the voyager megatron into motormaster. those would be some repaints i would get behind. this stuff is an easy pass.

why thank ya. i think it is and it's somethine i'd buy in a heartbeat. they have a perfect oppurtunity sitting right in front of them and they're not acting on it.

They already did that for the BotCon 2011 set so I don't think many would jive with that. There are many characters that have earned their opportunity to get released as a repaint, and to be honest, the Stunticons have more than worn out their welcome. Orange Roadbuster homages Earnheardt Jr's Orange Nascar, and they're going to milk Optimus Prime molds day in and day out. Plus......

yea but the botcon set is way expensive. as for that picture: not everyone was lucky enough to find that dragstrip, not everyone can afford that wildrider, that deadend well imo kind sucks, breakdown can get upgraded to deluxe so he can be the same size as the others, and that's nemesis not motormaster. and man i can hope stop busting my bubble!

Grabbing that Roadbuster, love the DOTM Wreckers, even if this one looks like crap. That optimus looks like crap too, but not in a good way.

This Roadbuster is one of those infrequent cases where the repaint job is fairly distinctive and in this case better than the original. I will be picking this up.

I already have the original Y'All-Mart deluxe Prime, but will still be buying this one. It's all in the cannon. It looks horrible on the deluxe figure, but will look perfect in the hands of Ultimate Prime when I obtain him.

Roadbuster doesn't look bad in those colors. If I were a NASCAR fan, I'd probably get him, but since I'm not, I don't really have any interest in it. I'm still hoping for a weaponized Roadbuster.

Slap some Walmart stickers on the Roadbusters and let Japan keep the Primes...

Roadbuster looks pretty decent, but the green one is enough for me.

I got the orange Roadbuster off eBay during the week, although I liked the orange colour anyway, it looks even better in-hand. I actually prefer it to the stock Roadbuster, which seems dull by comparison -

I'm Irish and clueless about NASCAR, is there some reason why the green was chosen over the orange? Is it supposed to mirror a real-life competitor? (I only ask as I have seen the 'real-life' counterpart to Leadfoot a couple weeks back)

I can totally recommend this repaint, it just seems right for the mold.

I think the roadbuster will be a wallmart exclusive because it has the same stlyed packaging as the other walmart exclusives. Also this would be perfect because I'm trying to get enough wreckers to have daytona 500 on my shelf.

As for the optimus I would only get if I get it on sale. If that does happen the mechtech will go to my ultimate optimus because right now he has ironhides.

"Lunarfire" doesn't make sense: how can there be fire in a vacuum, without oxygen? :-B

The orange Roadbuster is a maybe, only because it's the other half of G1 Roadbuster's colors, and fellow repaint Twin Twist will need a playmate. Prime I'll skip.

Yes, yes, the Roadbuster is all fun and games, but when are we getting an Armored Deluxe Retool of him?

Love how they make him sound so "Eager" to fight with all his modifications. Tell me hasbro, did you mod his paint to not fall off this go round?

I agree we're getting a weaponized Leadfoot, We've gotten a weaponized deluxe Topspin. I think the best way to get an armed Roadbuster is the Human Alliance one. but i might be misinformed.

I love the bio about Roadbuster says he's improved his weapons, engines, output of his cannons and has reinforced armor.....and yet.....Notta. Identical. Pfffft...at least give him a different Mech tech weapon to make me believe it somehow. Or at least give him a new head and call him something else.

Pass on both for me.

I meant molded on metal armor (thrusters, something like that. Wires...) Like Topspin and Leadfoot. That's what I meant, don't know about you.

Still, what people try to "make" of the regular Roadbuster coverting into an armored Roadbuster is silly for me...
