After reading some online rumblings, but not having seen any pictures, I decided to do and check for myself.

MP-Rodimus at TRU.co.uk

He's not available for home delivery, but is in selected stores.

Interestingly the packaging is the multi-lingual and I believe the first MP to do so, he comes in at £59.99 (GBP), following Hasbro's usual exchange rate.

I've just checked the Dutch TRU website and no Rodimus (0% surprise). Probably the UK will get it, mainland won't. Same old, same old.

Dutch is definatley one of the 12 languages on the back of the box. Drop them and email, TRU-UK have always been quite accurate in their responses.

You must mean ToysXL, a company that has no links to Toys 'R Us, other than buying out their stock. Besides, the Dutch Toys 'R Us never had any exclusives to begin with.

Don't worry, it was an easy mistake to make: TRU Netherlands has only recently started up again. They've got a 10%-20% 're-opening' sale, but naturally, they've kept the TRU exclusives off their site (as long as the sale lasts) ?

Anyhow, Windcharger has multi-language Euro packaging: doesn't mean anyone's ever seen HIM here in the Netherlands!

No, I mean TRU, they're a website now. And they're way cheaper then brick and mortar. Plus their shipping is (wait for it) €1.95.

Excellent!! when i picked up TRU MP Grimlock last week TRU said that rodimus would be out in the next couple of weeks, nice to know he is actually in circuit i will have a look on wednesday round my local.

There are rumours floating around that TRU-UK have only committed to buying 2,000 of them and that they will only be at certain stores, so I wouldn't leave it too long.

I used the website and ended up searching a few different stors and secured it via the "click & collect" service.

Anyhow, about the TR exclusives not actually being available currently: see this link to another TRU exclusive product I'd have liked to get with the 20% discount, but is now 'not available'. Same for a couple of (non-exclusive) €100+ Lego sets, BTW, which aren't even featured on the site.
BTW, the TRU.nl site is hardly "way cheaper" than regular Dutch b&m stores... Prices seem very comparable. The discount promo helps though. And perhaps when the discount promotion has ended, they'll at least start featuring TRU exclusives (like MP Hot Rod), so we can get them, even if only at full EU price.

I wonder if the price will drop like Skywarp did...

TRU in Newcastle are getting them in stock for sure the person i spoke to said they had been listed on the system for a couple of month so with any luck he might be in stock if not ill see about reserving one.

TRU Brent Cross (north London) had 1 (!!) and it was hidden away behind a pile of CO Big Darleks on a Doc Who shelf. So if that was you hiding one for later pickup tough-banana because it's mine now.

Not impressed with the price - it's getting practically the same as importing one from some sources Stateside as shelling out £60 for it here and while that's the same as MP Grimlock, Grimmy felt like twice the toy that Roddy is. Also hate the Euro-Achtung!! packaging, it just looks fugly.

Wonder if that MP 10 will end up here sans the trailer in a similar sized box next year. If I knew it would I would definitely cancel my pre-order for the Tak version with BBTS. It's a nice toy, but as usual I'm not so sure I'll stomach the $230 price when the "in-stock" date gets nearer.....

Definately wasn't me, I only grab extras if I'm specifically hooking other people up. There are only four to a case and another chap picked one up whilst I was there. There being three to start with. I wonder how many more shipments each store will get?

Just picked mine up from TRU in Chatham. They had 4, they now have 3.

Me again. There are 4 stickers included, one of which is a Decepticon logo. Anyone know where they are supposed to go as I cannot see anything on the instructions about them.

Thanks to seibertron.com member Pretender Skywarp, we now know that the Hasbro version of Master Piece Rodimus Prime is available at UK retail. The figure is available at toysrus.co.uk as home delivery, but only in select stores for GBP 59.99. No word on if this will see wider release in the UK soon, there is, however, an interesting little difference to this toy compared to previous Hasbro TRU exclusive MP figures in the UK - the box is a Euro box in all 12 languages like the rest of the European Transformers releases. This might be a sign for a Europe wide release of Rodimus Prime in the near future. So keep your optics sharp!

I saw him in hand at AA, I think he looks horrible. Especially the unpainted dark gray swirly plastic face and hands, the plastic looks good on smaller cheaper toys but not on a "Master Piece".
I'll pick him up once he goes on sale.
