So yes, it's exactly the same as the Botcon version, which makes this a lot less exciting than I thought.

Got mine today too. Sent the printed form out on Aug 1st. Box was beat to ****.


Still haven't received Sideburn yet. I know they're different companies, but still...

Maybe if they had packaged it in something more secure than a bubble wrap enevelope... Seriously, that's really poor handling of a collector's item.

Is this the one that HTS.com is sending as a freebie with TF purchases?

I got mine today, it was beat up but not bad, and not like I car because it was FREE!

I got mine from the Kreon Build on the Kreon website. I actually forgot all about it. It was a nice surprise. Looks like they must have a bunch of extra Kreon "Matrix primes" from the convention left over.

I think Hasbro accidentally produced vastly more of the special edition Matrix Prime Kreon than they originally intended, as those are what was being included in the Kre-O Optimus Prime set at retail instead of the normal one, so they were sending replacement "standard" Prime Kreons to customers that purchased it if they requested the original. These that they're giving away free are likely the excess from them swapping out the Kreons in their existing boxed stock of the Prime Kre-O set.

How do you get one?

Just purchase anything on HasbroToyShop.com, they send you one free with every order. I bought a Cyberverse Guzzle today and they added the Kreon to my cart automatically for $0.00.

It's not so special anymore. Now I feel stupid.

Damn it, Hasbro! This could have been a cool collector's item and you guys turned it into an ordinary, run of the mill toy.

Yep, it's because they goofed to begin with, using the stickers of the Matrix chest version for the stock Kreons that were supposed to have the normal Prime chest. It was a mistake on Hasbro's part that turned an "exclusive" into a version of the little Kreon that will end up being more common than the "stock" version with the normal chest.

but it was free so it still is a plus

no purchase required, just mail in the form upon completion
not the minimum purchase one from HTS.com
probably the same stock but i believe the above statement to be correct

My friend has this kreon. I've been trying to buy it off of him but would not budge.
