Can someone clarify for me, if they can, how exactly the deluxe Leadfoot will be released? I see a lot of pages saying he will be a normal Deluxe, but a few are saying he will be released as a Target-exclusive two-pack with Twin-Twist, whoever the heck he is. Which is true?

Are they going to do w/ him like they did w/ cyberverse 2 pack?

The target exclusive 2 pack having the Target logo, but a single deluxe without the target logo available elsewhere? or is this 2-pack it?

2-pack's it. The Japanese version will be standalone.

Thanks JelZe! You should have your own Ask JelZe section.
Hopefully it's a little less expensive then buying 2 deluxes.

Dang, that kinda sucks. I want Topspin in his blue version, but I don't want two of him. bummer...

Maybe I'll just use the repaint for parts. or a custom.

I really dont see the problem with owning another topspin. And im quite certain the 2 pack will be still cheaper. The TAK one will run you at least $25 bucks. And topspin is a great figure! Really looking forward to this 2-pack to get leadfoot plus more guns to totally arm DLX roadbuster!

Would it help that the Topspin repaint is a new character called Twin Twist?

That's what I did, But more topspin guns + Roadbusters beltfed guns on his roof being transferred over to the original topspin's roof = the twintwist guns going to roadbuster, and the extra two going back to topspin. It's confusing.....

I'm just not big on repaints. I'll still get the two-pack, and just do what everyone else here is doing, switch the guns to Roadbuster.

I'm probably going to repaint Twin-Twist a lighter blue for the sake of my collection. Otherwise, I'm just getting the 2 pack for a Deluxe Leadfoot with the actual Target logo on it...
Besides, this is too damn cool...

I think this was mentioned somewhere in these forums, but Top Spin, and Twin Twist are jumpstarter characters from back in the 80's, and they were twins. So even if this is a 2 pack, you not only get a cool Leadfoot, but you get Top Spins twin brother as a new character added to this line..even though it may just be a repaint.

Does anybody remember the jumpstarter Transformers from back in the day. They were not too popular since you didn't get to transform them. You just folded them in half at the waist and they would look like small space ship drillers, and then you would pull them back on the wheels they had to wind them up, and let them go. They would go forward a little bit and then pop up unfolding and landing on their feet...lol.

Love those little guys! I used to have Topspin, he ended up trashed so I tossed him years ago. Recently picked him up again with Twintwist, compelte w/ guns and nice chrome all around. And, they still work! So I'm defeinitely keeping Twintwist when he shows up. I'm buying 2 of these sets, so I might sell the extra but keep his guns.
