They're like Optimus Prime alive and dead. Given that in G1 and Animated dead robots turned colorless gray.

I love the black one. I wish Hasbro would do a Nemesis Prime repaint of the Walmart Deluxe OP.

They do look awesome

. As for the Hasbro part...You do know they did less paint apps on purpose so that they gain more profit right? It's classic business technique. Less production cost equals more profit. Well if you already know that nevermind then. It's just that I hate people who hates on Hasbro just cause of paint apps. Seems silly to me when the figure itself looks awesome. Let's just be glad that we still have official licensed transformers up until today.

The Walmart exclusive does have very nice paint apps for the alt. mode; the robot mode is blander w/ the usually light gray so I'll have to spruce that up myself. But it would be nice on occassion to get a nice exclusive repaint like this here in the US. I think Japan has always been the favorite son

I would be interested to see what kind of sales they do in Japan in regards to the toy line compared to the rest of the world. With all these Japanese exclusives I'm guessing they must be kicking everyone's ass? I also wonder if the collector's over there are as excited as we are? "They might think oh great another exclusive....yawn." "I'll get around to it eventually"

I need to get me a deluxe prime, as one guy on one of these threads said, he's to PERFECT Scale with DOTM Megs, he even had a picture, and kudos to him for figuring it out! I mean perfect scale too.

Oh, I thought it was an exclusive you could only get when buying a brand of milk, wouldn't surprise me, this is TakTom, after all.
Oh and.

I read GQ. But yeah, one called Milk would be a lot weirder...fashion is not the first thing that comes to mind with that...
These repaints do look pretty good. I wish Hasbro had the resources to put more paint apps on their figures. But I already have Leader Prime, so it's not like I'd want this mold anyway.

Eh...this mold is okay for a deluxe, but it's not really good enough to warrant a super fancy paint job. Better off giving this treatment to the voyager Battle Blades Prime...

The repaint looks amazing! It's a good thing they did it for the Deluxe; it looks a lot better than the DOTM Voyager.
In a way, it's a shame the repaint is hand=painted, otherwise I'd be skipping the mass-produced version so I can get it...But at least the normal Deluxe has *some* silver-y paint, so yeah, I do agree with a previous comment that the Battle Blades Voyager would benefit more from the repaint.

Ya know funny thing. I never heard about them being released. I may be wrong here but they might have never been made, something about not a lot of demand?
