Just got my Masterpiece Megatron order in from agesthreeandup.com and I really like the guy, although I do wish he had more metal. He does also require a lot more force that i'm used to applying to transform him (and that made me very uneasy) so I hope that the joints loosen and he'll become easier to manipulate. Transforming him back into a robot is much easier than into the gun IMO and I really love the size of the gun. My hands were almost too big for Re-issue megs and classic megs but Masterpiece fits very well in my hands. Great figure!

I felt the same about mine too. But I can say that after several transformations, mine did loosen up a little bit, especially when detaching the head piece going into gun mode.
He could use more metal, but I'm pretty satisfied with what we got.
Congratulations on your purchase!

I love MP Megs, but I still can't get mine to stand up if he has his Fusion Cannon on his arm. He just won't stand up!! Damn it!! Oh well, He too amazing to complain about. I haven't loosened up the joints on mine yet, I've only transformed him three times. The first time I transformed him I though I was gonna break the legs off since they hardly had any metal & were the most delicate part of the whole damn figure (IMO). Oh well, I just display him in robot mode now & have him face his arch nemesis.

I had that issue too. Play around with the feet, he'll stand!
Wow, was this a pre-order from 3andup? I have been having terrible luck with their pre-orders. They seem to get and ship them a couple of months after everyone else.

Mine supports the arm cannon just fine. I just think it looks freaking ridiculus. Why can't some body make one to scale with the robot mode?

Lolz many Transformers are really hard to stand up, I got a different Megatron (Armada) he seems really hard to make a stance.

Armada? He has no Legjoints, so you shouldn't have any problems with him standing up.

That's harsh mine stands up just fine with the arm canon I wonder if you transformed his feet correctly. You may want to have a look at the feet to see if they are transformed correctly or you may have to adjust the feet in order to achieve the balance your looking for.
And to j76t congradulations on your purchase MP Megatron is not only fantastic but one of the best engineered TF that I have ever seen at least in my opinion.

Megs feet are basically a triangle which can collapse. I find that sometime I have to have his feet flat rather than give him his heels. Seems to help stop him front tipping forward in some poses.

For certain purchases, such as MP-05, they have them surface shipped rather than sent by air, hence the long delay. It's in an effort to avoid customs trouble.

It was a pre-order but I think I came in later than others who ordered him there. I was a little annoyed by the time initially but out of sight, out of mind...almost completely forgot about him and wasn't expecting him when he showed so it was like Christmas in June

It took a little balancing but mine also stands up with the Fusion cannon fairly easy. And I agree, he is one of the best engineered TFs I have, as is the Masterpiece line IMO. Now if Takara would go ahead and release a perfect Ultra Magnus with battle armor.

Yeah, I'm just pissy as my pre-ordered sports labels are apparantly "on the next shipment" again...

I guess I'm lucky to have them near where I live, I can just go pick up my orders...

Hmm, I had no problems standing him up. I got two thoug, both stand fine, but I didn't transform them, maybe that's why?

I've transformed mine a bunch of times and he stands up fine. It's just a matter of balance. He's a pretty top-heavy figure.
