At Target, I was able to take the receipt for a TF purchase I made the day before a sale started to the store, and they gave the the sale price. Does anyone know if TRU does this also? I bought a Voyager Sentinel Prime at a TRU last week. Would I be able to take the receipt to a TRU and buy another (say, Deluxe Crankcase) figure and get that figure for 50% off? A potential problem with this is that I bought the Voyager Sentinel Prime in another state. Would that make it less likely that they would accept it?

Great, I could use a sale, if TRU wasn't so far away from me >_<

Why do they only do BOGO sales when there aren't 2 figures in the same class that I want?

Target has a stated "price adjustment" policy (as long as you bring in the receipt within two weeks, they'll adjust the price). Toys R Us is more YMMV. Worst case scenario, you can either:

1) Go to the customer service desk, and ask them if you can return Sentinel Prime, so that you may buy it with Crankcase (for the deal), or

2) Go in and buy a duplicate Sentinel Prime (assuming they've got one in stock!) and a Crankcase. Purchase completed, go out to the car and get your old receipt, and immediately return the just-purchased Sentinel Prime with said (OLD) receipt. (Or you can return your originally-purchased SP; it doesn't matter. This way, if you've already opened SP, you're still good to go.)

*The problem with option #1 is that they may say they have to "return the item to the shelf first," though I usually only get that problem at Target and Walmart. (The part about it being purchased in a different state won't matter; just make sure they get the sales tax right if your current area has a lower sales tax than where you bought it -- granted, it'd only be a few cents on $20.)

Well at first I was not going to get leader Bee or Sentinel, and stick with just Ironhide,but thanks to this sale I went and picked up both of them. Damn TRU..Damn them to Hell...just when I thought I had my addiction under control they put Transformer crack on BOGO....LOL.

Damn. I literally JUST reported this to the news department. D:<

Yes! Time to snatch up Leader Setinel and Ironhide!
