i was looking at my classics when it hit me.....jazz did not get a repaint, in the US anyway. i started to think who else did not get a repaint, classics 2.0 octain/tankor, WFC soundwave, classics kup, warpath, and preceptor, (but i think thats because they are too new) but what TFs are you surprised that did not get a repaint??

We have one confirmed identity, and you may not like it: Warpath as G1 Hardhead.

These figures also have retools leaked in their instructions:

- RtS Optimus Prime

2007 Arcee didn't get a repaint that you could buy at retail.
Cybertron Ultra Class Starscream. Several Ultras and Leaders got repaints, why not him?

what is there a picture of the rts prime new head because I cant find one any where?

One repaint i thought for sure would happen was a dotm voyager megatron with an optimuse head and painted black with light blue highlights. So pretty much dotm rid scourge.

i cant seem to find the Scourge instructions...

The RID Train Team would make a bloody good stand in as a Classics Raiden, even tho only half of them would be present....

I was always surprised they didn't throw Hound out there, Swindle, Rollbar or even Detritus?

Given that repaints make such financial sense (whether we like it or not), I'm amazed there are any molds that HAVEN'T been repainted!

While Scourge's sweeps usually look exactly like him, I'm surprised Hasbro hasn't tried to release them, even with the most minor of changes. I mean, I would buy them.

I would buy so many of them.

We really need a repaint of ROTF Voyager Megatron. One in movie-accurate colors would be nice, but a Galvatron repaint would also be cool.

The absence of a movie Galvy always surprised me, I assume it's something to do with keeping the toyline in sync with the fiction and "brand recognition".

While I doubt this would happen, this guy is on the shelves now at Target, walmart and TRU. And I think HTS.com has it still also as I know the first three aren't always practical for the European collectors.

WFC Prime as Magnus, I mean, SO Many people would buy it. Who would not dare buy an ultra magnus again? Every mgnus that comes out, I try to pick up. Magnus=Aftermarket Murder!

any pics of this upgrade because this would be awesome.

I know RTS G2 Prime is getting a remolded head (which means a new color scheme). However, the fact that he hasn't even been hinted at being repainted in RID Scourge's iconic black, teal and grey colors with red windows is just beyond me. I mean, I don't think we've had a black Prime repaint available in US stores since the Target exclusive Universe Nemesis Prime. Seriously, what does Hasbro have against Nemesis Prime/Scourge/Black Convoy?

Plus, there's no way that head is meant to represent a possible Scourge repaint. I'm sure the figure will eventually get the black paint job it deserves. But I'm sure it'll be either a Botcon exclusive or a Japanese exclusive. We always get screwed over in the Black Convoy department.

Universe Hound. Not mass-released, anyway. I don't know who, but I'm sure there's a character they could have done a shoe-horn redesign to fit the mold. Swindle, maybe?

I'd like to see Windcharger retooled for Tailgate.

And given how they used Mirage for Drag Strip, like the "Masquerade" episode, I wouldn't mind seeing Sideswipe as Breakdown (as has already been done for BotCon's G2 set), Windcharger as Wildrider, and Jazz as Dead End (new heads would be nice, too).

And for any design that's an exclusive, I'll take a new deco (Classics Jetfire as Dreadwind, Jazz as Ricochet, etc.)

Beast Machines, Nightviper. Such a solid little guy. Snakes are hard to make into transformers, but they did a good job with this one.

I'm aware that we already got a Classics Sunstreaker, but it would be damn sweet if one of the Sideswipe movie molds got a yellow paint job.

Anyway, I will say movie 1 Payload. He got nothing at all--mainstream release or exclusive.

thats one reason I like that TF. Unique. I don't mind what they've done lately with re-paints and giving them new head molds. But a character without a re-paint.....
