Walmart Exclusive Battle in the Moonlight set

I Was at WalMart last night and it seems that they also have an exclusive set that includes one of the Battle Sets. This one includes Optimus, Ratchet and Crankcase. Unlike the TRU exclusive this one is only $19.99 compared to the TRU one that is $39. I'm guessing that the reason for the difference in price is because the TRU one has 4 figures where as this has 3?

Are you sure the TRU one is $39? That doesn't sound right. I think it's $29.99.

This Walmart set contains:
one "Action Set" ($14.99)
two Legion figures ($4.99)*2
for a total value of $25, and they're selling it for $19.99.

The TRU set ALSO contains:
one "Action Set" ($14.99)
two Legion figures ($4.99)*2
PLUS one Commander figure ($8.99)
for a total value of $34.

I doubt that TRU is charging $40 for that. I think it's $30.

You may be correct I was looking for where someone had posted a seperate thread about the one from TRU and couldnt find it. It was probably more like $29.99 sorry for the inaccurate info. I will go to TRU to confirm later.

Believe it or not, they are. It's pretty ridiculous, especially since the same molds are still on the shelves too. It was reported here:

http://www.seibertron.com/transformers/ ... ail/22525/

and I've also seen it priced that way at my own TRU.

TRU often charges more for exclusives.

My mistake. I forgot TRU charges extra for store exclusives.

It is indeed $39.99 at TRU. That's how much I paid for mine.

If you just can't get enough of the DOTM Cyberverse line you're in luck, another store exclusive set has been spotted. Courtesy of Seibertron.com member tattood-transformer, we have a retail sighting of the Wal-Mart Exclusive Battle in the Moonlight Cyberverse set. This set contains repaints of the Optimus Prime Armored Weapons Platform playset, Ratchet, and Crankcase. Happy hunting!

I wasn't really feeling the Cyberverse figures that much, especially given that they're only two dollars less than a DotM Deluxe Class Figure and much smaller. This however looks like a pretty decent set, gonna go check my Wal-Mart tomorrow.

Same person who came up with "Dark of the Moon" :P

OOOOoooooo, I just came up with a new set along the same lines:
"Battle for the Sunlight"

Bumblebee with a REALLY shiny yellow paintjob, and Soundwave and Shockwave with their colors super glossy PLUS bright yellow sparkles all over.
