Is he easy to find in tru stores? I don't see him listed anymore in tru.com.

ive seen him in 2 TRUs so far, but i think if you see him you should grab him right away

I was thinking of going to toys r us tomorrow. I went there two weeks ago and they didn't have him listed on the shelf with the other transformers there.

To my knowledge, they never even got a spot on the shelves at the one near me.

That is why I'm afraid of going for nothing then finding nothing as before.

I found mine not even expecting to see them. I was in TRU looking for DOTM and Generations Figures, and there he was. 2 of them actually. I have 3 TRU's near me and frequent the often, but hadn't seen a Rodimus at any of them until this point. I had even asked the managers if they knew when they would get them, and some would say we got 4 and they all were bought, and not sure if they would get more.

They are out there though, just in really sparse quantities.

Yeah, I gave up and got one on Ebay $75 including shipping.I guess I kind of got lucky considering most were going around 100 before shipping....

I have seen him on multiple occasions at 2 different TRU's down here.

Still haven't seen any around any of my TRUs either. Fortunately the Ebay prices are dropping week by week, so I'll probably get one that way and come out ahead by not spending the gas to search for it.

Another way to check if it has arrived in your area is use ebay and search by distance. There aren't any within 350 miles from my location. I'm sure once they arrive, I'll see them locally on ebay too.

Yea that's been my problem of making a lot of drives for nothing. There are 2 TRU in ABQ and one of them never even had the price tag put out, and that one is about 20 miles away from me. I have checked a few times a week at the TRU that is much closer to me but I have come up empty every time. Worst of all the TRU that's closest to me removed the price tag for MP Rodimus so I may have to resort to Ebay.

The thing I noticed about Toys R us stores is their aren't that many in america. a big chunk of toys R Us stores keep closing down every year.

It just seems like their is more walmarts,more target compared to TRU stores in america.

Sadly most Toys R Us stores in my area are few & are 35 miles away one way & 70 miles away round trip.

So for me it cost too much in gasoline prices in my car to travel to Toys R us stores. coming home empty handed & wasting all that gasoline is like throwing money out the window. even if i come home with something it still cost way to much in gasoline in my car to get the item.

my best bet is when Toys R us stores have TF store exclusives. is to go to ebay & buy the item from ebay sellers.

I live in Charlotte, NC. There are two TRUs in my area. One is 20 minutes away and the other is 40 minutes away. I've called the closer one several times and have even gone there on their ship day as early as I could. They have not received any yet. I do see one guy on eBay in my area selling one with a Warpath, so it seems the store 40 minutes away probably received some. That's odd since the store closer to me usually gets figures sooner and has a better selection. Guess I'll keep trying. Or I'll have to attempt to trade my NIB ROTF Superion plus some newer Generations figs for him.

Sometimes when someone wants something really bad. their willing to over travel to get it.

I can totally understand if the ebay seller had to travel 60+minutes away to get that MP Rodimus at another TRU in NC. Then the seller grabbed a few more MP Rodimus toys to make up for the gas he used going beyond his local TRU stores. or if he used the ebay profits from the 3 MP Rodimus toys to help pay for his own mp rodimus toy.

Even traveling to those 2 local TRU stores 20 minutes & 40 minutes away cost the ebay seller gas. their is nothing illegial about grabbing extra toys to sell on ebay. to help pay for his time,gas or to help the guy pay for his own MP Rodimus toy.

I just got home from TRU, and they had 5 of them. The store's about 10 minutes from my house...

I just got mine this past Monday at a store in NJ they had 3 on the shelf. Were you able to find one?

I got mine early in August, but I am seeing that more of the TRU's in area are receiving them now. must be a second batch finally being shipped, or TRU was holding them for Fall 2nd release...either way they are getting out there now, so check your local TRU. Still not available back on their web site though.

i checked my local TRU earlier tonight and they had six in-stock.

Back when TRU MP Grimmy came out, I went to my nearest store many times looking for him but the closest I came was seeing a shelf tag for him (and that was for maybe only 2 weeks)

Today I saw 4 MP Roddies in my store. I left with 3 of them (2 of them for fellow friends who are collectors) and as I was walking to the register, I saw a guy look at me carrying the boxes. He quickly scurried to the aisle and picked up the last one.

Look like they may be hitting stores now. The two closest TRUs to my house/work have not had any. Finally decided to get the item # and start calling all surrounding stores. Found one in stock 20 miles away. They put it on hold for me and when i got to the store I counted 15 on the shelf.

I went to toys r us yesterday and saw about 5 mp Rodimus Primes. Finally grabbed one. I transformed him today to a car. The transformation wasn't as smooth as I thought it would be. Spent about more than 3 hours trying to transform it. Almost did it but I couldn't align the arms with them lower side pegs. I folded the hands on to its forearms but the thumbs kept getting in the way. Then I tranformed it back to robot mode. Did it little by little carefully. As I unhook the pegs in the rear of the car ,and popped up the roof by the bottom. One of the roof lower side panels had a thicker stress mark below and thinner one above it where it is molded. Luckily I used the blowdryer at close high frequency range on those areas for a couple of seconds ,and was able to get off the stress marks on the roof panel. Just when I thought Hasbro fixed them issues. I'm partly dissappointed with it. I've heard the takara version had weak roof panels proned to breakage. I see it hasn't changed with the Hasbro version. What do you guys think?
