Hi folks, been rooting around in the attic, and found a load of my old TF's

In one bag were a motley collection of micromasters, and included in this seemed to be 4 teams of 6 that combined.

Can't seem to find them on the galleries here, and wondered if anyone could point the way.

I seem to have 6 constructicons, purple and green, all micromaster sized, assume they build devastator (G1 homage) with body armour etc to build him, have energon packaging

6 aircraft, all different colours, again some more bits to provide armour.

6 trains, same as above

some emergency vehicles, about 4, plus i think a yellow car & a f1 car, some more body armour.

Ideally, trying to discover which armour goes with which.

They're placed out correctly,

Trains in that armor, then jets, then emergency vehicles.

The combiner with emergency vehicles is the only one with a mix of types. The others are all trains or all jets.

Cheers counter-punch - btw any ideas about that grey bit of plastic? near the F1 car top middle left?

Also the train bots seem to be fair better quality than the rest? were these all brought out during enregon?

space holder -

i'm going to put a few more pictures of stuff ive bought over the years, but have no idea what it is anymore up over the next few days, I know there is an identification topic, but as this stuff is going to be all my stuff, i thought i'd set my own thread up and keep it in one place

cheers

As you can probably tell by visiting the links, that pegs into Sixturbo's left shoulder (the Indycar Streetwise)

In the US, all Micromasters were released in Universe as KB Exclusives, but Europe got them under the current line at the time: Energon for the Protectobots and Constructicons, and Cybertron for the Railbots and Aerialbots. And they are up in the galleries:

Defensor (Sixturbo)
Constructicon Devastator (based on Sixbuilder)
Rail Racer (Sixtrain)
Superion (Based on Sixwing)

On that note, what the OP has is Reissue Sixliner, the only one unreleased in the US. He's the base for Sixtrain aka Rail Racer.

It's actually a slight repaint as well. The Euro Energon packaged version has a darker shade of green plastic than the KB version. I'm not sure about any changes between the other sets though.

Thats Mint folks, cheers for that, will add some more pictures of some random stuff that appeared in the collection, can't remember buying it, and some isn't Transformers, but is interesting.

Without pictures of my own atm, heres a link to something else i found in the attic

http://www.bugeyedmonster.com/micronaut ... nd-clones/

From memory last night it appears to be complete, and also has some seeker missile pods and missiles in the box... odd...

Anyone able to tell me if this is worth keeping, its not particulary interesting to me, but i'd like to see it go to a good home.

cheers again

The article already provides enough information, but the piece itself is more for fans of Microman and Transformer history related stuff.

Let me elaborate on that. Transformers started off in 1984 and 1985 with imports/repaints of Japanese transforming robot toys. The main sources were Diaclone and Microman (Microchange subline). Diaclone focused on transforming piloted mecha, while Microman focused on very articulated figurines (for their time) with accessories and transforming vehicles.
Soundwave, Blaster and their cassettes, the series 1 Mini-Bots, Perceptor, Megatron, Browning, Reflector all came from Microman, they were supposed to be life-size, 1:1 scale (the Mini-Bots were based on Penny Racers, hence their cute proportions) as were the Micromen themselves.
Here's a nifty page for you if you want to look into it more:

Microman Forever

One final thing: Grandstand Convertors is the pre-TF line for the UK, containing molds from Diaclone, Microman and similar lines, in case you were wondering.
