Generations Warpath - An Instant "Classic"

Finally picked one of these up and I'm really pleased with it. The transformation is simple but elegant and there is no real kibble to speak of. I wish it was a bit bigger and came with a handheld weapon but it's not really a big deal. The feet kind of limit its posability and the missile looks silly sticking out the back but it's definitely one of the more enjoyable Transformers I've bought in awhile.

I haven't found him yet, but I always thought he looked great. I'm definitely going to pick him up once I find him, which should hopefully be much easier when the new Generations wave hits.

The local stores around here seem to have gotten hit with a wave of Scourge/Warpath/Thundercrackers lately so it seems like they are still being shipped pre-Junkion et al.

I really like the figure too. Some complain about the head sculpt but I rather like it.
I see them most often at Target stores.

I've yet to pick it up/ order it/ get my sweaty claws around it, but he's on my list.
I don't get the comments about his gun, the thing is a gun. A gun wielding a gun?

True, he didn't have a gun in the cartoon, he just pointed his chest and shouted "KABLAM etc" but having a handheld weapon means you can do more poses. I plan on making a handheld weapon from his turret mounted things when I open him.
I don't expect to like him much but maybe, like Inferno, he'll surprise me when I unbox him.

Warpath is a brilliant figure. It's a fun transformation, no kibbly bits, great deco. This is Warpath, plain and simple. Easily one of the best of Generations.

Agreed. He was a pain in the ass to get hold of but so worth it. Only the lack of a waist joint stops it being perfect. This and Special Ops Jazz are the reason why the current batch of Generations/RTS etc will become THE TF Line in future years.

But then you can't stick the missile in the end of his tank cannon barrel for a giant mega WHAM KAZOWIE BOOM BLAM BLAM tank cannon.

I found him at Target a few nights ago, and just opened him today. He is indeed awesome! Although I'm going to try to be a little more selective in which TFs I buy in the future, and will probably be buying fewer repaints, since my parents have limited the amount of money I can spend on TFs (a good idea, but it'll make collecting a bit harder), but I may end up getting the rumored Hardhead remold for this guy, and put him with my Wreckers.

It flies much farther when you shorten it as well FWIW.

I was thinking of clipping of an inch or so from that long ass missle but I am hesitant to do so since it will be technically mutilating the figures weapon. I have never been one to worry about the future value of my figures but to cut the missle in half just seems like Im breaking the thing. Anyone see where Im coming from or am I just being silly?

I kind of had those feelings right after I did it but it really does look so much better and honestly the only reason it's as long as it is is so some kid doesn't choke on it and sue Hasbro.

OMG, he does exist! I just picked up the one and only that my nearby Target had. I also passed up the only Wheeljack I've ever seen.

I'm not really impressed with the Wheeljack mold. The feet are really lazy design.
