The war you're sure they had

Have you ever come home / walked into the room holding your collection and swear some sort of war went on while you were gone?

I had one of those moments a week ago. I came home from vacation to find Megatron, Starscream and Lugnut on the floor, which, save for two others, are the only Decepticons on a shelf holding 17 Transformers. None of the Autobots were overturned or otherwise looking out of place and none of the Transformers elsewhere in my room and hallway were displaced... took a while before I realized they'd probably been knocked over by the earthquake that had rattled up and down the east coast when I was gone, but still, why were only the Decepticons on the floor? And the D-cons from one shelf no less. Lol.

your putting WAY To much thought into this, Transformers are VERY Unbalanced Sometimes, anything can contribute to them falling over. Tremors, Wind, Kids, pets, Even the house settling can make your TFs fall over for seemingly no reason, esp. if your gone for a while. There is a thread here called "The Domino Effect" That Covers this nicely.

Um, not so much. This thread was made as a joke and was not intended to be taken seriously. More a play on the well known Toy Story concept.

I've tapped my figures (or the bookcases they're on) and they've fallen over before, but it's not very common for me, lest I'm trying to set them back up after dusting. They tend to stay well enough in place. Perhaps because I make sure they're well balanced in a pose (or propped up against a wall if they're too bulky for their small feet) and never set them up so they can rock or tip if you breathe on them wrong. I dunno if I'm just lucky or doing something right, but I don't have much of an issue with them falling.

That aside, it was the quake, no need to think much beyond it. I know from friends it was felt in my area and a few cards that had been awkwardly place on my desk were on the floor too. The thing was, I arrived home several days after it happened, so the incident wasn't fresh in my mind.

Dude, he's just trying to share a funny story with us, not convince us that Toy Story is real, even though it is.

That f**king pink bear thing is watching you sleep and licking his chops all over your MISB's.

Personally, my deepest fear is that EVERY FRIKKING ROCKET goes off at the same time.

Nightmarish, really.

I've had Armada Powerlinx Jetfire's sound effects go off in the middle of the night.

I had that thing going off in one of the boxes while I was moving to a new house. That sound gets REALLY old after a good half hour.

That's actually more common than you'd realise thanks to the infra-red component in it.

Maybe your house is haunted by ghostly children who play with your toys.

One time back in the G2 era lightning hit my house and it set of the sound effect gizmo that came with Starscream. After that it never worked again.

I've had moments where I've come home from visiting my dad and my mom completely trashed my room. She said she was cleaning it, but it looked like she drove a bulldozer in there and shoved everything to one side. She even went out of the way to scatter my RiD Optimus Prime and Ultra Magnus all over the place. It took me 3 months to find all the pieces.

 I was afraid to mrntion lightning strike related incidents, because I thought no one would believe me! I had this old Plug in motorized Godzilla toy that moved, roared, and crushed little taxi cabs with his feet. one day, lightning struck a good half mile or so from our house, and he was plugged in. He started moving and doing all his electronics and stuff by himself. A feat previously impossible, and he did it alot after that. I mean ALOT. We'd wake up in the middle of the night to that thing roaring. Ironicly enough, a big earthquake was what shut the damn thing up! It knocked it AND It's platform off our table, and it snapped somewere inside.

I Actually used to think that. our old house was haunted like hell by the spirits of younger people. my mother constantly said she saw a little girl and boy in our backyard. one day she called me out there, and the swings and such wee swinging around like someone was JUST on them playing, and jumped down, but that could have been wind. I heard voices, and saw things too. Id'e wake up and my energon prime would be moved from my bedside table in truck and trailer mode, to the floor, un transformed (Thank god, otherwise ide go loopy) But there was no chance it could have just fallen, or rolled, and the table was to far from me for me to have moved it in my sleep, and all the windows were closed, so no wind. It was always strange. things always got moved around at night.

I thought that.

Then I found out it was my housemate who attempted transforming and re-displaying.

I was really confused for a couple of days.. #-o
