In addition, the website contains news that the Fast Action Battler- Frenzy will be available in Japan but only through the online retailer – Toy Hobby Market. The deadline for pre-orders is July 13th and the toy will be released at the end of September. It is unclear whether or not this particular FAB Frenzy will be a variant of the US version. All that is known at this point is that Frenzy will come in the US style Movie Packaging and include his shooting disc.

Variant or not, it's still the ugliest Transformer ever made in the history of the universe.

He's a robot that only the Allspark could love.

So, basically, Frenzy only comes as A) Barricade's "engine block" B) FAB?

Well, considering he's an assemblage of chicken bones, I guess no one could be surprised that there won't be much of this guy toy wise.

might be possible for me to get him off of ebay might as well if hes not coming to the us.

he is one of the ugliest toys ever !i wish the made a music label frenzy of the movie concept that would be sweet

We're supposed to be getting one of those robot replica action figures of him too, the ones that use those revoltech joints. I'd say that's your best bet for a remotely accurate looking Frenzy.

So i guess theres not going to be a Deluxe or Voyager Frenzy then. Oh well. Sucks to be Greivous Jr. I might get him just to use as another Real Gear figure.

I tend to think of Barricade as a Powermaster-wannabe because of Frenzy's "engine block" mode. A wannabe because as far as I know, real Powermasters need the Nebulan engine modes to transform, which isn't the case for Barricade.

I'd be disappointed if they don't do something with Frenzy other than this though. Most figures released as the partner of larger figures don't get their own profile on transformers.com if the company wasn't planning a larger figure. Sure, FAB counts, but the profile implies better than that.
