I Swear dude, Vader's the new Bumblebee. I won't be buying the quadchanger, but I am curious as to how it transforms from one ship to another, do you just flip it over and move some stuff? Or is it a bit more complex then that? I'm mainly Curious as to how the side callapse in like they do from ship mode to ship mode, and as to how well each ship is hidden in another ship. Still, at these prices, for the typical starwars nerd, these are fleetbuilders.....
EDIT: On the other vader, not the tie fighter, but the other small one, is that, a mechtech port on his wrist? I Had the Obi-Wan mold of that guy, And I swear, I do NOT Remember that.

Agreed in full, although, the Mellenium Falcon was pretty cool.

I remember the Vade/Tie Fighter had springs in his body that really didn't do anything. My favorite though is the Sith Starfighter, can't wait for the basic version of that to go on clearance; no way it's worth $12.

FYI ... they're $7 or $8 at Walmart and Target.

I disagree, the first wave has really bad. Yes the Vader Tie Advanced wasn't too bad. But the Luke X-Wing was horrible, and the Republic Fighter / N number of repaints wasn't all that good either. It wasn't as bad as Luke but it was by no means good. bobba Fet wasn't really good either.

I think they started getting better around the 3rd or 4th waves. When they stopped including the little pilots. Things like the Commander Cody, and the Millenium Falcon where better that the first few figures.

So they do, my mistake. Still the first few were still awful.

I feel the series has been HIT & MISS .I like the first Obi-Wan Kenobi
,but i hate the Jedi Starfighters like Saesee Tiin and Ahsoka Tano, the ones with the "hyperdrive ring " they can not stand in either mode .About the new Vader ,people have been complaining about it just being a head flip to go from Vader to Anakin Skywalker ,the same point could be made about Masterpiece Hot Rod :BOT: to Rodimus Prime :BOT: .

I should mention that the Star Wars Transformers figures that were reissued for the Star Wars Crossovers line omitted the pilots entirely.

The Death Star incarnation looks the best, followed by the Imperial Cruiser and Darth Ugly the transforming thinger-ma-bob. :P

I have the Death Star and the TIE Fighter, and have a couple of other versions of the Jedi Fighter - and they still hold up well - a couple years back, I would have been all over this new Vader, but this looks gawdawful. There isn't even four modes anyway, it's just two modes with some added kibble. Crap.

I still dont see the point of cross-overs at all? Let Transformers be Transformers, dont mix it up and kill it like this.

Okay I'm sold, but after looking at that Death Star Vader stare back at me every time I come to Seibertron it's litterally the Darkside pulling on me! Now I have seen re-releases of SW/TF figs but is there a chance they may do the same with Death Star Vader? For those that are fans of this line is there greatness to this fig?

Cuz after looking at the Seibertron pics he looks cool in DS mode next to Unicron. The only flaw I see so far is the color of the lightsaber, too pink looking. If I got my hands on this I would look for a cheap priced Tie Fighter Vader or Jedi Fighter and swap sabers. I never cared for this line so this would indeed be my only Star Wars Transformers fig period. So if anyone can comment that would be awesome, thanks! :VEHI:

Mine are all away in storage ATM, but if I remember correctly, the lightsaber that comes with it is light piped for the led in the fist, and is waaaaay bigger than the other lightsaber variants - colouring it in with a permanent red marker may darken it up some.

It all depends how big a SW fan you are/was - the Crossovers are no match for other TFs released in the same period, but get away with it for me due to my love of the SW universe - the advent of the Clone Wars series allowed them to take more liberties, IMHO - this time last year I got a Y-Wing and a Yoda Shuttle, and was appalled with how the quality had slipped even further, and I haven't bought one since.

I would say, get the Death Star, but it still isn't as good as Primus or Unicron, but, it is a nice companion piece that has dated a little, but still holds up well, compared to the other stuff out now.

Of course, this is just my opinion, but hope this helps somewhat!

It does and thanks for your feedback on this. I totally forgot about the LED in his fist and like a goof I didn't consider how much smaller other sabers would be compared to DS Vader. I really want to get him but my only fear is that he is reissued again. I don't think they have reissued Han & Chewie as the Falcon have they? If not than maybe no fear about Vader I suppose. :VEHI:
