Well, it's been called the year of the third party toy, and sure enough we've been getting a lot of requests!
To start with, Craig brings us a set for Thundershred:
http://reprolabels.com/Classics/And we see an amazing design brought to us by Greg (Sodawilly) for the first of the Hercules figures:
http://reprolabels.com/Classics/scavenger.phpJustin hasn't been idle either, bringing us this ultra-detailed set for Movie Deluxe Topsin!
http://reprolabels.com/Movie/And wrapping up our recent push for more G1 sets, we have replacements stickers for the Sparkabots, Vroom, Spinister, Squeezeplay, Weirdwolf and Windsweeper:

Ditto, I've got an extra Wheeljack waiting in the wings for this.

I think that maybe the club may take a stab at this in a Diaclone set, which I think this year may be, given some of the hints (about the past).

I already asked this weeks ago
April and co said they WONT make malboro wheeljack stickers because APPARENTLY it helps sell cigerttes to kids....
Even tho its ADULTS who use reprolabels and even tho its ADULTS who would being using the paypal and bank accounts that ADULTS use.....so yeah
They said there not allowed to because it helps promote smoking to kids. Personally i dont see how because all it is is labels. I dont see a cigerette on the design or anything so i dont really see a problem

I put in an inquiry from the Staff, we'll get this sorted out soon enough.
Edit: Confirmed. A Diaclone version of Wheeljack will not be produced.

I can understand Reprolabels not wanting to push cigs in any way and its their choice.
I like the custom figures sets. Though I think I would like to see a more subdued set for Thundershred....but I think I'll be getting them anyway.

Reprolabels must have recently changed their position on Marlboor Wheeljack, if you look on their website it is listed under discontinued along with some others. High horse now, but not always.

I thought it was fairly widely recognized that Reprolabels don't produce that set anymore because of a cease and desist from Hasbro. I assumed the same would hold true towards any Classics version as well.

I think it has more to do with the Marlboro branding - in both legally selling tobacco paraphernalia worldwide (which has restrictions on a country-by-country basis) and the white 'chevron' on a red background being a recognised trademark of William Morris Tobacco. Who have, and would, sue their, and anyone else's ass.
It's a damn shame, cos I'd have got an extra Wheeljack for that - are there even any garage kits that can be got on eBay - like Formula 1 tobacco decals?
Or tuts on getting the paint off for starters?

Isopropyl alcohol will remove paint pretty easily. The higher percentage the better. In the US 91% is the highest you can buy off of shelves. You can get 99% from a pharmacist. With Wheeljack, that red is probably set into that plastic pretty well even after removing the paint. I would guess that it's slightly stained into the plastic. Red on white, usually "stains".

P.S. Forget you, auto spell check. Isopropyl is a proper word. Older than your technology even.

Finally, we get Topspin stickers! They're more expensive than I had expected, but they look so good, and he needed them so badly, that I'll definitely be getting them, probably with my next order. Problem is, I've got lots of sets I want (Topspin, ROTF Sideways, Gen Wheeljack, Movie Allspark, RTS Perceptor), and I don't want to spend too much at once, so I'll probably make two separate orders.

They use to have one but it was pulled out. Funny thing is Malboor aka Malboro is a bunch of misspellings to get around trademark issues. But what about Mirage's Citanes which is actually another tobacco brand sold in Europe Gitanes?

It's amazing how some stickers bring out the greatness in plain looking 3rd party figures.
And with all due respect to Reprolabels, not doing a Malboro Wheeljack set is stupid. What kids buy Reprolabels with what paypal account ??? Even Hasbro endorsed cigarettes in the HA Jazz packaging artwork. And in the movies they endorsed everything from hanging robot testicles to Megan Fox's T&A. But now all of a sudden we are concerned about the wishes of soccer moms across the country ??? How wack is that ???

Thanks for that, at least it would be a start I guess.
It's easier said than done, but it would be possible to do a custom using one sheet of red, and one sheet of white label-type material over the areas on Gen Wheeljack, then cut to size with a craft knife - the overlaying sticker would have to be thin though.
Wonder whether Reprolabels would supply that - one envelope sized plain red, one envolope sized white? Or are they easily obtainable on the net?
