Biggest surprise for me was voyager Prime. Can't put that toy down. Leader Sentinel is also rightfully praised.

I have not bought a lot of DOTM figures, no real bad figures for me.

Do you actually HAVE All those figues, or are you compiling a list of what fans say?
Anyhow, One of the best (Surprisingly) Was Skids! Voyager Sentinel is fun too, I don't know If you actually HAVE Those guys, but their a breath of fresh air, believe me.

You're the first person that's actually positive about Skids. All the negativity kept me away from that toy... I do sorta want one, because I drive around in that vehicle.

Actually, go watch the Peaugh Review, he likes it too, and not only that, but he's very solid in both modes and is pretty screen accurate. all the negativity you hear is (Mostly) From people who just don't like the twins, the toys are pretty good though. Granted, mine has 2 whole factory errors, but that's just mine, not EVERYONE'S!

I think the best figure for me this year is leader Sentinel, but maybe my opinion of him is coloured by the ball joint neck I gave him. Maybe my answer should be deluxe Topspin. No changes necessary.

Worst figure: any of the ones I didn't bother buying.

I don't think I've seen a review where he says he doesn't like a figure.

Best TF of 2011 that I own, by collections and classes:

Reveil the Sheild
Legend
Starscream. He look great in both modes and his transformation is both clever and fun.
Deluxe
I din't buy much of this line. Optimus Prime win by default. His robot mode and vehicle mode are okay, but at least, he's not a pain to transform. I have issue with Perceptor, Jazz, and that brown suv.
Voyager
Solar Storm Grapel is a solid figure, but he's just Inferno's repaint. However, Lugnut is one of the best TF ever. Awesome robot mode, the vehicle mode is HUGE and his transformation is fun.

DOTM
Cyberverse
Starscream is bad. So the vinner is Optimus Prime. He's surprisingly good.
Deluxe
So much greatness in this line, it's hard to chose. Bumblebee is very impressive. Perfect vehicle and robot and a very fun transformation. Crankcase is also very impressive with that SCARY robot mode of his. Deluxe Starscream is incredible.
Voyager
Skyhammer is the clear winner. Perfect vehicle and 'bot, and a very fun transformation. Megatron could have won if he were'nt so tiny.
Leader
Sentinel Prime. Even if Ironhide is awesome, Sentinel win for his overall perfection in every ways.

BEST OF THE BEST OF 2011
RTS VOYAGER LUGNUT
For his overall desing, great size, awesome transformation, this Transformer is one of the best ever.

Worst of 2011
To qualify as worst, the toy should make me regret of spending a single cent on it. Even if it's a RotF repaint, I think this one still count:
TARGET EXCLUSIVE DOTM VOYAGER STARSCREAM. The robot mode is nice looking, but the elbows bend the wrong way. Mine have solid opaque plastic as a cabin and eyes. Transformation is fine, but the hands sticking out of the jet's ass are unforgivable. That TF made me angry. For real.
Honorable mention to DotM Deluxe Sideswipe. The vehicle mode was nice enough in package, but his color is so plain... and his total lack of paint aps is very sad. Also, I hate his legs.

But the year is not over. The "best" and "worst" can still change.

I think Skids is great too (after you turn his feet around so his giant toe(?) faces backward)

He's not very fond of Mudflap...

Anyway:
Best
*DOTM Deluxe Topspin
*DOTM Voyager Ironhide
*DOTM Deluxe Laserbeak

Best from Perspective :-B
*DOTM Deluxe Air Raid (yeah, I said it!)
*DOTM Deluxe Soundwave
*DOTM Deluxe Whelejack (I said that too!)

Worst
*DOTM Deluxe Nitro Bumblebee
*DOTM Human Alliance Basic Backfire
*DOTM Commander Cyberverse Megatron O_o

Worst (Generations/RtS): Tough. This was a great line. Um...WfC Bumblebee wasn't that good with his weird proportions in robot mode, although I LOVE the vehicle mode if I can get it close to right.
Worst (DOTM): Walmart Exclusive Optimus Prime. Have you guys SEEN that monstrosity? The QC is phenomenally bad. I don't mean a little sloppy paint, I'm talking about feeling like any part could crumble in your hands.

Best (Generations/RtS): Jazz. Two beautiful modes, near-perfect resemblance to a classic character in both, and an epic transformation. Technically I got him on December 26th, but still.
Best (DOTM): Skyhammer. The only DOTM figure I can really say I like. A solid helicopter mode, and an insanely awesome robot mode. The rotors actually WRAP AROUND his chest! Only flaw is the crap MechTech weapon. Would say Leader Sentinel Prime as he looks like the Transformer Jesus in both modes, but... the panels... they HATE ME!

I was doubtful at first of this figure, mainly because of the ridiculous backpack. Being a Optimus Prime fan, I gave it it's chance anyway. No regrets. He look very nice in robot mode and the vehicle is perfect! Better than the voyager and his nasty hole in the back. But "any parts could crumble in your hand?" Wut? I don't remember this toy being made out of '80s gold plastic... He have the same sturdyness as any standard deluxes around. Beside, his transformation scheme is clever and I was never afraid to break him. Not like deluxe Armada Starscream. God these arms...

Am I the only one in the world who have no troubles with his panels? Many, MANY people have a hard time lining up his panels. Is it so hard to tab the panels into the limbs then tabbing the panels together after? Every times I transform Leader Sentinel Prime into vehicle mode, everything fit smoothly like daddy in mommy.

the worst for me:
DOTM: skids, voyager prime,

CHURG: cybertronian bumblebee. deepdive, thunderwing, too damn small >_<

best:

DOTM: skyhammer, megatron, leader sentinel, mudflap, HA roadbuster, ironhide, walmart exclusive sideswipe, crankcase

CHURG: wheeljack, jazz, grapple, scourge, straxus (darkmount) skull grin, redalert, blurr drift, i love em all except the ones above.

the year is not over yet so i think its hard to determine which one is the best considering we still have more DOTM coming out and one last wave of generations.

Go watch his review for Cyberverse Shockwave.....WOW, Is alls I say. I have never seen him act like that.
All that, plus he's very optimistic about the figure, I mean, you can tell when he's not to happy about a figure, but skids gave his review this "Glad I bought it" Vibe, while say, Cyberverse Shockwave....again wow.
