Generations Optimus Prime Problem

Hey guys, literally brand new here. Seriously, I just made this to ask this question because I cannot find it anywhere.

anywho, my problem is that the head on the WFC Optimus alt-mode always slides on the hard surface it rolls on. Naturally, this worries me because I don't want my 4th favorite Optimus' head all flattened and such. Do they all have this problem/is there a way to fix this? Or should I just not roll him around?

Input is greatly appreciated :) And nice site by the way

No it shouldn't. Every transformer I've owned has always sat on its tires w/ nothing else dragging along the ground. Most likely you have yours mis-transformed somewhere.

Hey there,

It's a close one, but there is clearance. Maybe like 0.5mm, but his head shouldn't touch the ground. Try tweaking the alignment of the rear section a little; if he bends even a little in the middle, it can push his head down.
Also, his head should be bent right back, so he's kinda looking the the opposite direction he's driving.
If his head won't stay up, try increasing the friction in the ball joint. The old 'coat the ball with superglue' trick will probably work.

Peace!

Mine doesn't have that problem, so I'm with the other repliers: Make sure you transformed him correctly.

D'oh silly me. There is clearance, albeit very very very little. But what made me think he was face sliding on my table because some of his wheels don't roll at all, but I guess that's just because of the surface.
