So I have been watching 3 NEST Bludgeons at my local TRU on sale for 12.99. I heard great things, he looks pretty cool, and the price is right but there’s three and they aren’t moving so I’m in no rush.

I go in today and all of the sudden there is a Recon Ironhide for the same price, which I want because I don’t like all the grey on the first ROTF voyager IH, and I find the DOTM version to be too small. I take him home and sit the box in front of me as I eat lunch and discover the front grill weapon and one of the other guns is missing. I think ok, I’ve got spare guns and what not, so I open him up and find that the front side door that was facing the inside of the box is missing…SOB. I decide I just want him for bot mode and I think that piece folds behind so while it sucks, it’s still ok (really didn’t want to try to go back to the store on my lunch break, with a torn up box trying to explain this one), I’ll transform him and see how he looks. Start the transformation and you guessed it…NO HEAD! It took him back and got one of the Bludgeons. So c’mon which one of you was it? LOL!

Anyway, now I’m paranoid with the old stuff so what parts/pieces should my Bludgeon come with? Anything that’s not already attached to the tank in tank mode?

While that is pretty common jackassery, this one is strange to me….A couple months ago I was in a Walmart and thought I discovered a leftover ROTF BB Leader Prime. Was pretty psyched as it too was marked down due to being “out of season” and I thought I really scored. Luckily before I made the purchase I discovered he had original movie Primes chestplates and feet glued on. Anyone want to take credit for this handy work? What’s even stranger is I saw the EXACT same one at a different store across the state three weeks later…next to a Battle Hooks Prime, also in a ROTF box. Be careful out there.

The only "detachable" items on bludgeon are his huge sword and small sword. Lol.

Im not sure where they're stored in box but i know the big sword goes into the barrel in tank mode and the small sword fits IN his turet.

Never personally ever seen anything like this, but it reminds me of why I always like to either buy online or in person instead of having my mom or brothers go looking for me.

I recall one holiday season some years back my mom called up saying she found some Cybertron TFs on clearance at wal-mart and if I was interested. She told me they had Primus and Menasor so I told her to go ahead and get them... imagine my surprise when I found out she hadn't even read the actual name tag on the box and I ended up with Metroplex instead =/

Hence the reason I avoid returned figures...

I really didnt notice it was a return. Even looking at the others they had sometimes its hard to even tell if the tape is factory or not.
