Two heads are better than one???

This is actually a two part question.
A month or so back I stumbled across a universe barricade figure AT THE DOLLAR STORE OF ALL PLACES.FIRST QUESTION IS HOW RARE A FIND IS THAT?

After opening him up and hating how much larger he was than the rest of my figures I noticed that he had a second head. I figured he was the torso of a combining figure. Which one would that be? Is he the core of the modernized Bruticus? If so dose that mean I may be able to find the remaining four limbs or did they even manufacture them?

Thanx guys.

Yep, he's part of a combiner team, but it only has 3 distinct molds:

The whole set is from the Energon line, though Barricade himself was resold alone in Universe.

OH MAN IT IS BRUTICUS!!! I want that soooo badly!! Its just to expensive right now. So do you know, should I be able to find the rest of the bots in this group singularly or was finding him a fluke?

Finding him alone isn't a fluke, Iv'e got him AND his aunslaught repaint (From an old set I wish never broke) And it's finding the limbs that's a pain!

Your cheapest bet is to get the whole new universe repaint... and end up with a spare grey onslaught... Individual limbs were produced in energon, but you would have to hunt down 4 separate sets, which is gonna cost WAY more then the universe full-set. ;)

Just to motivate you to complete brutics: He's awesome, i own the universe repaint.

Yeah, collecting a combiner piece by piece may blow, but the satisfaction of completing it is beyond words.

BTW the Bruticus Maximus mold is very good. Even without the upgrades.

I disagree but respectfully respect your right to your own opinion (even if it's wrong! ;) ). In my opinion he's meh at best, just like the other Energon combiners. Check the gallery for yourself to see if he's worth getting without the Fansproject upgrade. The upgrade set really does make it awesome.

As energon combiners go Id say brut is a few notches above "meh" without the upgrade. With the upgrade however he is awesome!! I MUST own both he and make toy devastator. I guess Im off to ebay to price the whole set.
I am severely disappointed in the rest of the energon combiners though. A few of them are infact so unapealing I cant see how the hell they were green lit. If your gonna do something like a combiner, do it right. At least attempt to make it look neat. Superion was the first autobot combiner. He is in effect the autobot version of devastator. His energon combiner is FUUUUUUUGLY!!!! Why bother putting that P.O.S. on shelves? I can glue bots together at random and have a better looking bot than that hunk of junk.
Get it together hasbro, or stop whinning about third parties.

I have the Rotf repaints of brut and superion. I also have the the energon constucticon main body and one of his limbs. So I would say that after haveing these guys for almost 2years (steamhammer for about 7 years) I would have to say Brutus best out of all of them and constructicon is a close runner up.

I have a couple Qs

1. What would be the easiest way to get the three other limbs?

2.does the repaint of the brut set come with all of the upgrade peices( the new head ex. )?

The upgrades are a 3rd party set and are not related to hasbro in anyway. STRAIGHT repaint. ;)

I know that 3rd partys are not with hasbro. What I meant was does the repaints of the munictioner and explorer come with the the the upgrade pieces?

You mean Casualty Warcry and Flameblast? They don't. They do retain their combiner connectors however.
