Air bubbles on MP-10's plastic windscreen?
Posted: Tue Sep 27, 2011 3:11 amDoes anyone here who owns an MP-10 notice a tiny air bubble or two on the clear plastic surface of the windscreen? It appears as a nub the size of a grain of sand, and is only visible when light reflects off of the surface.
I'm asking because I suspect it might be a manufacturing problem rather than an isolated QC issue. Another person I know who bought the fig also says there's a nub or raised dot on the windscreen.
At first it didn't look too bad, but the more I look at it, the more it bothers me, like an itch you just have to scratch. And unlike missing paint apps or scratched paint, I can't even touch it up. Hopefully, I can get a replacement from the store I got it from. If it seems like most of the batch has this issue [and I certainly hope net], then I'll save myself the trouble and not bother. Damn place is kinda far.
