Not sure if this is news, but today I found Darksteel, Air Raid and Armored Top Spin.

Pics to follow.

Definitely newsworthy, get pics posted, and provide the location, store, etc. I'll news it as soon as I get home from the gym.

Location: Jax, FL. Target @ San Jose Blvd. For Jax people, Air Raid and Armored Top Spin still there.

DARKSTEEL WILL BE MINE!!!!!!! he is the only one out of this wave i want.

Courtesy of your fellow Seibertronian It Is Him we have a retail sighting of the highly anticipated Transformers Dark of the Moon Deluxe Wave 5. The find was made at a Target in Jax, Florida.

This wave consist of:

• Darksteel (Deluxe DOTM Sideswipe repaint/remold with remolded DOTM Deluxe Starscream MechTech weapons)
• Autobot Armor Topspin (DOTM Deluxe Topspin repaint)
• Air Raid (Brand new mold!)

It Is Him picked up Darksteel and the left the other two for you other fans in Jax, Florida. Happy hunting!

It's nice to see something new on the pegs, but redecos? Geez.

*sighs* C'mon Hasbro, push out more new product. These constant lulls are why I've given Bandai all of my money lately.

Yes! Hopefully these will get to my area soon, but given how slow my stores are, I wouldn't expect them until super late October or early November. It would be really nice if they'd get here in time for me to use one of the Target coupons, though.

man, i just sucks that we have to wait for these to start warming pegs.. then probably wait even longer to get the soundwave/que wave.. which, hopefully won't get lost in the shuffle of the holidays like other recent figures have.

i really dislike this lull in figures.. it doesn't quite make some sense. it would be different if they were pushing star wars figures.. but only targets have really stocked anything new, and there were very few of them at that. i don't get it.

sometimes i wish hasbro would just bite the bullet and get rid of all of the shelf warmers rather than let them linger and take up space that could be occupied by figures that people actually want.

Went to Target and they had atleast 3 of each.. Got Air Raid, Darksteel, and Armored TopSpin for $0.44 ea. They were on sale for $9.99 and I used the Target $5 off mobile coupon and the $5 off coupon I got at the Transformers Tour..

Awww... Still waiting for Wheeljack/Que to come out on the shelves.

When I first clicked on the story that's what wave I thought it was. Want that movie Wheeljack a lot as well!

Cool finds though, I might go for Air Raid.

Looks so much better than the original release of this mold; unfortunately it's really hard to keep this guy from looking like Evil Sideswipe. It's a distinctive mold of a very distinctive character; I don't think it repurposes well.

• Autobot Armor Topspin (DOTM Deluxe Topspin repaint)

Some actual mold changes might have made this interesting. As it stands, we're getting the Twin Twist redo of this mold as well; so a recolor of this character seems especially redundant. The original colors were better, too.

• Air Raid (Brand new mold!)

Novelty is most of what this one has going for it. This mold is such a head-scratcher. Taken on its own, it's really not awful (nor is it particularly outstanding). But it just doesn't fit with the other DOTM toys at all. I'm inclined to wonder if this could have been a much more interesting entry if Hasbro had held onto the design for some future line. Then I'm inclined to wonder if that's what they'd already been doing for a while before giving up and deciding it was time to stop sitting on it.
