I got this thing a few months ago and I have NO idea how it works or where it came from or anything. Can anyone shed some light for me?

Lol~! xD

I posted the same question a few hours ago in "The Official Part(s) Identification Topic" sticky. No one's answered me yet either :(

I couldn't find heads nor tails of it anywhere D; I must have search google and ebay for like an hour and only found PopBox's, which is pretty much the same except for the base (or so it looked in the pictures)

LOL It's at least nice to know I'm not the only one with this question.

Is there a copyright stamp on it? That would help tell us which movie it's from. Does it need batteries?

My camera vanished so...

The bottom sticker says:

TF-416
DC---6V 4x"AA"(R6) Battery Size
Copyright 2007 Hasbro. All Rights Reserved. KIDdesigns, Inc.
http://www.toptoysonline.com
Made in China. Patent Pending.

I tried checking the website listed, but it doesn't exist on it anymore xP

... because I'm sick and not feeling like moving I've been searching like crazy for this bugger again... FINALLY found SOMETHING on it (only took forever and like 30 different kinds of google searches)

Amazon listing:
http://www.amazon.com/Transformers-2-In ... 17&sr=1-76

Dunno if you figured this out before (I only discovered it through the picture), but that black circle piece on the bottom comes out to make the stand/holding stick shown in the image. Mine took some jiggling to get down.

It says it was copyrighted in 2007 by Hasbro. (So, first movie, then?) It takes four AA batteries. It also says KIDdesigns, Inc. on it. I'm not sure what they have to do with making it, though. Time to do some more Googling.

Well found! It's not even listed on the Wiki and they're usually pretty thorough.

I'd known that thing came out for a while and hadn't realized what it was for. I'm not sure why it's there, though. Why would you want to display it like that? Anyway, I found a pic of it on ebay in it's packaging:

http://www.ebay.com/itm/Transformers-2- ... 0658474870

Both places call it a '2 in 1 beamer.' Any idea what that means?

EDIT: On closer inspection of the ebay pictures, it would also appear as though there's one of these for Bumblebee, too! And there's also a night light built into it somewhere but I can't find it.

Also, I've been having thoughts about it's sound effects lately. The description says it's supposed to make "Transformers noises" but I'm not sure if that means it'll talk in Prime's voice or what. I'm making a video for it that I'll post on my Youtube page.

The night light is on the toggle where you turn it off or on (up is on, down is night light). No idea how long it's supposed to stay on though but it lights up the back of it (that white piece on the base).

It's a funky little thing with a wonky name (I have no idea what a "2-in-1 beamer" means. I'm guessing it has something to do with having two different light sources). But hey, at least we figure out what it was. Haha.

Yay, I found the night light! (Thanks Erailea) I think I'll add it to the wiki.

I found his instructions here (linked on their support page, they have one for a BB version as well).

At least now I know that mine is doing what it's supposed to. I'd had suspicions it might be broken in someway. Thanks!
